WONDERFUL GIFT FOR THE GUYS AND GALS

12/30/2017 by REGINA

THEY WERE NO SOONER OUT OF THE BOX UNTIL THEY WERE ONE THEM. I BOUGHT 4 OF THEM, 2 BLUE AND 2 BLACK. MY TWO NEPHEWS GOT THE RIDING LAWN MOWER OUT AND DRAGGED EACH OTHER AROUND ON THEM. I WOULD SAY A TOTAL SUCCESS! THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE DURING THE MIX UP, YOU TRULY WERE A DELIGHT TO WORK WITH.

I gave this to my 11 year old nephew for Christmas. He loves it and I keep my "best aunt ever" status:)
Now I want one too!

So much fun Christmas morning

12/28/2017 by Kim

I bought this for my 15 year old son. Being born and raised in Florida, and us relocating to Massachusetts, I thought this would be an awesome way to introduce him to having fun in the snow. We had snow on Christmas Day, and the entire family spent the morning having a blast on the Axiski. I wish I could post a photo! Well made and easy to use, best gift ever.

Was looking for Christmas gifts for active boys

1/4/2019 by Rose

Bought for my grandsons for Christmas. Unfortunately, we have not had snow to try out yet. Was disappointed that the colors were not as bright as shown, dull & more pastel colors. Also, concerned that the rope may not last as it is quite thin.

Not actually all that great...

2/13/2019 by Megan

We were so excited when it finally snowed so we could give these a try, and they were so disappointing. The top was more slick than the bottom, it seemed, and we just slid off of them. They were so thin that we just sank in the snow when we sat on them, and went nowhere. With some dedicated effort we managed to make a track and slide down, but we still weren't having much luck. I suppose they might be more fun on wet grass, or maybe just more appropriate snow, but.. in the end we dragged out the old wooden toboggan and had a lot more fun. :(

So much promise - broke on first try

1/3/2019 by Polly

My ten year old son was so excited to try this out. Our winters in Wisconsin have become warmer with less snow but this sled seemed like a good solution. We got about an inch of snow, he took it out sledding, and it cracked a hole in the middle during the first run down the hill. I am requesting a refund or at least a replacement but Grommet has not approved it yet.

Not well thought out items.

My family did not enjoy this gift. They could neither stand nor sit on these items. It was not fun for anyone. Sorry.

The Axiski Story

Axiski | Ski-Boarding Sled

All-terrain sled

Hop on this ski-board and race through frost, sand, and snow while sitting down, standing up, or even while riding with friends.

Axiski is a multi-terrain, multi-position board made with super-smooth plastic that glides through gentle slopes and inclines with minimal effort. You don’t need to run to gain momentum.

The first prototype consisted of two pieces of laminate flooring stitched together in Dad’s makeshift attempt to entertain his two daughters. Unlike the sleds other kids brought out that snow day, Maker Darren Mather’s sled could carry all three of them and sail smoothly even as the
snow melted.

After hitting the drawing board, he came up with a cleaner (non-laminate-flooring) version. With foot grips to give you added traction while standing and snowboard-like curves on the edges to help with steering and direction, Axiski is proof that snow days are the perfect idea incubators.
