Very Nice

I bought one set each of the Hudson Short and Hudson Tall. Very attractive, not your typical plastic barware at all. Nice heft and balance. I'd definitely recommend these.

great looks and quality

I am very pleased with the quality and looks of the drinkware. I bought them for a gift for a couple who travel in a fifth wheel trailer. Their trailer is very upscale and the stemless wine glasses will fit right in.

The perfect outdoor glass

I've been looking for unbreakable barware that was dishwasher-proof and good looking. I finally found both. Bought 2 sets and threw out all the cracked and cloudy glasses I've tried over the last few years. Thought I'd just use them by the pool, but they're attractive enough to use any time.

Great design

These glasses are great. Although unbreakable, the glasses feel like ones made of glass. The bonus is the shape of the bottom. No more do the glasses I use stick to the coasters I use to protect the wood finishes. I would recommend this to any friend.

perfect fit

I have been looking for this size "glass" for use in our food related business where glass is not allowed in the kitchen. I needed to have good looking glasses that could handle the high heat of our professional dishwasher. This was perfect! So much so that everyone in our class commented on the fact that it looks so much like real glass that our customers were commenting on it! They also have a nice weight to them. I'm very pleased with them!

Wonderful on a whole, but....

I do love these glasses. Everyone does think they are glass.
However, I do have a couple that haven’t stood up in the dishwasher. They’ve come out looking as though someone scratched the inside and it goes right around the glass. Perhaps they are defective, as it hasn’t happened to the rest.
Would I buy them again? Of course and I have!

They were ordered as a gift. Arrived in great time and he loves them. They didn't arrive with the gift note however...

Very Nice

These cups look amazingly like glass, and if the claims are true, they should be nearly indestructible. We have been buying cheap "restaurant" cups at the big box store. They work well for a time, but then crack and leak. I going to gift a set of these cups to each of my married children.

A Bit Pricey

These lightweight glasses are quite impressive yet so lightweight. Dishwasher safe but they'll spot since they are, after all, clear plastic. Hand washing recommended.

I've used them a few times and have no complaints but they are a bit overpriced. I'm holding off on buying more for when they have a sale.

The BarLuxe Story

BarLuxe - Unbreakable Drinkware

Everyday Drinkware

When bar owners start mixing company with people who know how to engineer plastics, it’s a recipe for better barware.

BarLuxe got its start when some friends started brainstorming about how to create unbreakable drinkware. It took many tests and the emergence of a new compound from Eastman Chemical—Tritan copolyester—before BarLuxe’s nearly indestructible glasses were ready for action. They have the aesthetics of real glass and unparalleled durability. In testing, BarLuxe even drove a car over one of its glasses, which survived the impact without breaking. Eastman also rigorously tested the
BPA-free Tritan compound against the biggest enemy of conventional polycarbonate and acrylic drinkware: the dishwasher. After hundreds of cycles in commercial and consumer dishwashers, BarLuxe’s barware emerged without a hint of cloudiness, streaks, or cracks.

BarLuxe’s drinkware is ideal for outdoor use, where the last thing you want to worry about is a shattered wine glass. But it’s not limited to outdoors. It’s right at home in your dining room, too—and you won’t feel like you’re reaching for a kiddie cup. That was a key priority for Jason O'Brien, a plastics industry veteran and BarLuxe Co-founder. No one wants durability at the expense of style, and BarLuxe doesn’t sacrifice either.

We’ll drink to that.
