Poor

I was very disappointed & if it hadn't been a gift I would have returned it. The price was high & the quality was poor. It was rough in spots and no worth $45! Never again.

Has a design flaw

12/31/2015 by Allison

The bracelet is beautiful, and solid. The only complaint I have is that I have small wrists and because it is so thick it can't be adjusted and so when I need to use to hair tie, the bracelet falls off my wrist. This is a major flaw for me which doesn't allow me to use it. Now I have 2 bracelets that I would've worn every day that are basically useless to me. I hope they make an adjustable one in the future

I returned this item. It is a lovely bracelet with a great concept but it was too heavy. It was like wearing handcuffs.

poor quality, bad costumer service

2/12/2016 by Aryn

I was very excited about this product. I wear a hair tie on my wrist every day but I know it didn't look professional so I thought this product would be the answer. I got it as a gift from my mom for Christmas and I am very disappointed. I've had it for less than 2 months and it has worn away like crazy. The insides and all of the edges of the outside have worn away to reveal a coppery color. I tried to polish it with silver polish and that didn't work, so it's not tarnish. My mom is really mad she spent this much money for such a poor quality product. The only thing costumer service would do for me was suggest I post a review. So here I am recommending you do not waste your money for such poor quality and bad customer service.

Dissatisfied

I purchased the classic bracelet...the cheaper one ($45). I just couldn't see spending that kind of money for something like this. I knew it would eventually tarnish, but after I wore it twice it started to tarnish. I am very displeased with the overlay quality. You can purchase a cheap quality bracelet at Wal-Mart and the silver overlay lasts for months and months.

Poor Quality

I bought the bracelet for a gift for my niece's birthday. The bracelet arrived and it was so disappointing. There was a big scratch/chip on the top of the bracelet. The quality of this bracelet is definitely not worth the price!

Even more disappointing is that I wrote an email to them about it hoping they would replace it. The email was ignored so I finally returned it.

Plating Came Off After A Week And A Half

1/6/2016 by Lea

I received this as a Christmas present and now after a week and a half the metal plating is coming off leaving a green stain and a rash on my wrist, I loved the idea, but the quality is very disappointing. If I had bought this myself I would definitely be sending it back, but now I am faced with the problem of having to tell my sister that her gift needs to be returned. Awesome! Really, really disappointed, like I said, I loved the idea and was very excited to get this as a gift.

The bittersweet Story

Your wrist can hold elastics. But this is better.

Flexible Fashion

Want to put your hair in a ponytail on a moment’s notice? Then you probably wear a hair elastic on your wrist day after day (like about half the women at our office). It’s practical but not very sophisticated, and it leaves dents on your wrist.

bittersweet by Maria Shireen® makes sleek hair tie bracelets out of stainless steel. Slip the bracelet on, then the elastic over to rest in the groove. The metallic designs look at home from the office to running errands to a night out.

The story behind the bittersweet is super sweet. Shireen Maria Thor and her husband, Arni, are both engineers. One
Christmas, Arni created a metal bracelet holder for Shireen’s elastics. He engraved her name in Persian (her mom’s native language). But because Persian reads right to left, it said Maria Shireen—which translates to bittersweet.

Shireen happily donned her bracelet out and about, and women kept asking where she got it. The couple knew they were on to something, and the two engineers became entrepreneurs.

Each bittersweet bracelet holds one thicker elastic or a few smaller ones. Now you can be prepared to pull your hair (or your kids’ hair) back while looking put together.
