Perfect Sprouts Every Time!

12/28/2017 by Judith

Couldn't be simpler or easier to use. Looks great sitting on my countertop. I have been sprouting for years, using a conventional sprouting jar, and it was a bit of a hassle, especially propping and tilting the jar to promote proper drainage. Sometimes, despite my attempted diligence, I still ended up with moldy spouts. So far, with the Bivita, I've grown perfect sprouts every time.

Best Sprouting Jar!!

10/4/2017 by Steph

I love that this jar is glass and not plastic. It makes sprouting very easy and fun! I bought a couple plastic jars to compare and was not impressed so I ordered a second one of these.

It's nice to be able to see the sprouts clearly and I think the glass gives the sprouts their natural taste instead of sprouting in plastic.

Highly recommend this jar!!

My sprouts stay frest

I love it. I would have trouble growing mung beans without them going sour, but this provides just the right conditions.

I absolutely love this sprouting jar. It's easy to use and the sprouts grow strong and healthy, with just the right amount of moisture.

A far superior sprouting jar than I've used in the past.

8/23/2017 by Mazel

This is my first time using the sprouting jar and I must say it is so very much better and easier to use than the regular/manual type sprouting jar I've used in the past. The ventilation is the biggest difference which helps prevent mold, etc. It's just a far superior, and more modern piece of equipment. I love it!!!!!

WONDERFUL & SO EASY

8/11/2017 by Carol

ILOVE THIS JAR! I have no "green thumb" at ALL, but with this system it doesn't matter. I have fresh different kinds of sprouts every 4-5
days with minimal effort! THANK YOU, GROMMET, THIS PRODUCT IS A KEEPER AND
A REAL WINNER! ! Most Sincerely, Carol

The Bivita Story

Calling newbies and pros. Sprouting just got easier.

DIY Sprouts

You don’t have to be a pro to get behind this home sprouting jar—beginners and experienced sprouters alike will appreciate it. The design creates climate-perfect, mess-free conditions to grow alfalfa, lentils, radishes, and any other edible seeds.

Bivita was engineered to guide you through the process and eliminate the most common problem with DIY sprouting: mold. Its base has integrated ventilation and a steel mesh strainer that lifts your seeds above the water catch-all to keep the environment just right.

You may be wondering “What’s so special about sprouts?” Well, before a seed can sprout,
it creates all the vitamins, minerals, and beneficial enzymes it needs to survive. They’re at this nutrient-rich sweet spot. As the plant enters a more mature stage of growth, those vitamins start to diminish.

Creating your sprouts is simple. Place seeds, grains, or beans in the overturned dome with water, swish, then turn the dome over so what’s inside will drain. Repeat the swish-and-turn each morning and night for the next 3-4 days. And, boom. You’ll have yummy, fibrous sprouts to top off your salads and sandwiches.

Hone your sprouting skills and give your body a little nutrient boost with this smartly designed mini green house.
