Awesome 6 stars

I have reordered these for family. I have had for 2 months and have not even changed the refill. My strawberries, lettuce, apples, celery etc all remain fresh so much longer and I waste much less. YEAH

Blue Apple experience

6/13/2017 by Betty

I have had this long enuf now to send you my review, and it is so totally amazing that my head of lettuce has stayed green and crisp for over a week longer than I had ever expected. I have my apple in the lettuce keeper with the lettuce, and so far it has stayed actually crisp with only a tinge of brown on a couple outside leaves which is very remarkable to me. THANK YOU for this miraculous Apple. I have not put the second Apple to any test yet.

Veggie fresher magic blue drop

5/9/2017 by Betty

I have not had this long enuf to evaluate it as I would like,
but I put it in with my head of lettuce in the Tupperware
lettuce keeper, and it did relieve the brown quite a bit,
altho I had to toss outer leaves as usual, but not so many.

I had it by my expensive Heirloom tomato, and I found
it was moldy at the stem after a couple days on the
counter. That may be my fault, but I had to cut away
a lot of it.

So, give me more time as I am sure it will be a great benefit as a general rule in the veg drawer in the fridge,

Purchased these and dropped them into my fresh produce drawer. I think they definitely make a difference. Would buy again!

Seems to work

5/3/2017 by Steven

I put one in my vegetable bin and one in the fruit bin.
Surprisingly enough, they actually seem to work as advertised - especially for the veggies.

The BluApple Story

BluApple - prolongs produce freshness

A Fruitful Investment

No one likes wasting fruits and vegetables, yet the average family of four throws away as much as $600 worth of spoiled produce each year, according to the USDA (it’s not all that hard to imagine when an organic apple can cost $1.50). We’ve discovered an easy way to preserve the edible life of your produce, so you have more time to consume it instead of composting it. With this simple little product called BluApple, you can extend the storage life of produce by as much as threefold.

BluApple works by absorbing ethylene gas, which is given off naturally by fruits and vegetables. If ethylene gas
builds up in your food storage area, it speeds the ripening process and accelerates decomposition. Entrepreneur Timmy Chou, who founded BluApple, was inspired by the science applied for years to prevent spoilage in industrial environments like ocean liners, trucks and warehouses. He created a consumer product that makes use of the same non-toxic active ingredient (sodium permanganate). Each BluApple can absorb ethylene gas in a typical home refrigerator, produce bin or storage container for about three months (after that, refill packets are available). Simply place a BluApple where you keep your fruits and vegetables, and then sit back and enjoy them. . . for much longer. Read More Read Less
