Wish it worked

I returned this product for a full refund.
It would not dispense any of the powder sunscreen. The 2 grommets in the review are for the excellent customer service trying to resolve the problem with the product not for the product.

Easier said than done

6/20/2016 by Joanne

If the make-up actually infiltrated the puff as described, it probably would have been a great product, but for the little bit that comes out with multiple great shakes, does not come anywhere near my expectations for a great product. Back to the drawing board for the makers of mineral powder sunscreen!

A Bit of A Disappointment

5/27/2016 by David

I bought this Brush on Block, and one refill, for my daughter and I to use during a cruise in the Carribean.

Convenience, ease of use & application, and high protection factor were what attracted us to this product.

Unfortunately, the product only lived up to its hype in the area of convenience.

We found that the application of the product was very spotty, uneven, and quite hard to see where and how much has been applied. By the end of one day my daughter (21 years old) wound up with her shoulders burnt in a variety of spots, while the rest of the shoulders were just a bit red.

We followed the reapplication time recommendations from the product information sheet. But the combination of the uneven application, along with the questionable protection, I cannot recommend purchasing this product.

We wound up having to buy a sunblock cream when we were on shore. Disappointing :(!

Powder quit flowing

8/24/2015 by Judith

I used the sunscreen about four times before the powder quit coming into the brush. I have tried various things to get it flowing again, but, at the moment, it is not usable.

Hard to know

7/22/2015 by Bob

I bought one for me and one each for my grandchildren. The problem is it is impossible to know if it is spreading evenly. We notice blotches of it on our skin but is the rest of our skin covered too or exposed to the sun...hard to know?
For that reason I'm not going to be a repeat customer but worth the try

Having trouble getting powder onto brush

2/13/2019 by Marian

I have attempted several times to get the powder onto the brush. Finally I resorted to emptying the contents into a separate container then swirled the brush to get the powder.

Difficult to dispense

5/13/2018 by Lynn

I was never able to get the powder to come through the brush enough to apply, no matter how hard I shook and tapped. Very disappointing.

Wow I bought this over a year ago and didn't care for it. You might want to update your site!

The Brush On Block Story

Brush on Block - Mineral Powder Sunscreen

Easy Cover Up

Back off, sun. We’re armed with a brush.

Brush on Block is a mineral sunscreen for the whole family, in powder form. The self-dispensing brush is mess-free and easy to take with you, holding a cartridge of SPF 30 powder inside—a couple of shakes and you’re ready to apply. When you run out, just refill the brush.

Naturally occurring minerals like titanium dioxide and zinc oxide protect skin. And botanicals like chamomile and green tea extracts enrich, soothe, and replenish it. Because there’s no tint, you can wear it under makeup or over.

Creator Susan Posnick is a beauty and skincare
expert—the personal makeup artist to Mary Kay and other celebrities, Susan has her own cosmetic line. But when she was diagnosed with melanoma, she discovered her true calling. Today she’s a skin health advocate making better ways to protect your skin, like Brush on Block.

Brush some on the kids before a bike ride (it won't sting their eyes like lotion), or apply it before golfing, skiing, or hiking. No greasiness, and no more sunburnt noses.
