Awesome product.

7/22/2015 by Aini

I don't normally write reviews, but this product has made putting sunscreen on my children's faces so much less traumatic. It has proved to be very effective, no 'sunscreen in the eyes' tears, and the kids actually enjoy the face tickles. Highly recommended!!!

Sheer and lightweight protection

I plan to get one of these for my husband and his mother for when we fly the next time. It's easy to use and others can't detect that you are wearing anything. Because it is not a lotion, it doesn't get in your eyes. I like that it's refillable and that the brush is washable.

Not goey

I love the fact that this is a powder. I've used it on my whole body when I forgot lotion sunscreen. A bit daunting when your suit is still wet. but convenient and gets through TSA easy.

I like it

I like that it does not freeze when I leave it in the car. It is a little hard to tell if I'm getting it on properly, but still like it.

Powder, Good Protection!

9/23/2018 by Glenna

I really love this product in lue of face creams, I feel sticky enough in the heat! I would Lov to pack this in my purse, but I can’t get the brush to retract? I’m sure there must be a trick to it. The powder flows out wonderfully, not too much-just right. Getting the cap on with the brush extended is a trick and the cap doesn’t fit real tight. I can recommend this because I love the product- but so far the packaging is a challenge-maybe mine had a defect?

Love it

I have rosaceaand find this is so easy to put on, it's not sticky, and you don't have to wait for it to dry. The only reason I gave it a 4, was because its takes a little maneuvering to put the cap back on without bending the brushes. Hope this can be fixed in the future. Also, how do you get refills?

kids love it! No more sunscreen struggles.

1/7/2016 by steven

We bought this for our young children, 5 and 3, because it was always such a struggle to apply traditional sunscreen, especially to their faces. Now the children ask us to put it on! We call it "bunny fur sun screen" because it tickles their faces, ears, and necks. It seems to work well--nobody's gotten burned using it. My only complaint is it is expensive, though I'm hoping the refills will make it more affordable in the long run. Thanks for a great product!

Brush on Block

12/12/2015 by Beth

I bought this for my daughter, who played outdoor soccer year round for 15 years and couldn't wear suncreen due to stinging in the eyes, breakouts, etc. She is now a school teacher and applies it over her make up as she is leaving for work. So easy, no breakouts or color changes to her make up. Since it has worked so well for her, I bought one for me, put it in my purse, and usually when I'm already in the car (I live in Phoenix, AZ) I apply it to my face, neck, and chest. SO EASY! No break outs, doesn't fall into my crows feet making me look older, and almost acts like a matte face powder to dull my shiny spots. Highly recommend. Left off one star because I haven't used it long enough to ensure complete sun protection.

The Brush On Block Story

Brush on Block - Mineral Powder Sunscreen

Easy Cover Up

Back off, sun. We’re armed with a brush.

Brush on Block is a mineral sunscreen for the whole family, in powder form. The self-dispensing brush is mess-free and easy to take with you, holding a cartridge of SPF 30 powder inside—a couple of shakes and you’re ready to apply. When you run out, just refill the brush.

Naturally occurring minerals like titanium dioxide and zinc oxide protect skin. And botanicals like chamomile and green tea extracts enrich, soothe, and replenish it. Because there’s no tint, you can wear it under makeup or over.

Creator Susan Posnick is a beauty and skincare
expert—the personal makeup artist to Mary Kay and other celebrities, Susan has her own cosmetic line. But when she was diagnosed with melanoma, she discovered her true calling. Today she’s a skin health advocate making better ways to protect your skin, like Brush on Block.

Brush some on the kids before a bike ride (it won't sting their eyes like lotion), or apply it before golfing, skiing, or hiking. No greasiness, and no more sunburnt noses.
