Falls short

I like that there are no bristles, however, it bends from the handle to the brush area if you push too hard during the cleaning process. According to the picture the wire should be attached inside the wooden handle, but it is NOT.

I like the idea of having a grill cleaner that doesn’t have bristles BUT i have yet to find something that axtuallly cleans the grill as if it has bristles.

Not very effective

7/25/2018 by Ken

I purchased this to replace a worn out bristle brush that had served me well for years. Despite the claim of conforming to your grill and seeing the picture of it being used with the exact same grates I have, I find this brush sorely lacking in its cleaning ability. Do not recommend this product.

Poor product and shame on Gromment fir misleading advertising

7/25/2018 by Hugh

Both of my grills have thick, cast iron grates. This device doesn’t conform to them to do any cleaning. And Gromet shows photos of those kinds of thick grates in the promo and video. I should have returned it.

It don't clean

It doesn't clean like it brags. With stainless steel grates it doesn't fit into the grates. Stick with the old brush.

Not happy with this product

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I find the angle of the wires on this brush makes getting in between the slots of my grill difficult leaving residue that must be taken off with brush. And that's the reason I bought it...to stop having to use a brush. Would not recommend.

The Brushtech Story

Brushtech - Double Helix Grill Brush

Don't Bristle

The Double Helix Grill Brush is an innovative way to clean your grill—because it doesn’t have any bristles. Instead, this bristle-free BBQ brush has two flexible-yet-sturdy coils that efficiently scrape the grates.

It’s a safer way to clean. Even the Centers for Disease Control warns grillers about the dangers of metal brush bristles coming off and ending up in your food. The Double Helix Brush has nothing that could become dislodged.

Plus, Brushtech BBQ Grill Brush has a six-inch base that covers more surface area on the tops and sides of the grates. And the long handle lets you grab hold
with two hands—which helps you use some elbow grease to clean effectively. When you’re done, this brush is dishwasher safe. Bring it inside and get it totally clean, instead of leaving it outside where it could attract critters and insects.

Brushtech started making innovative brushes like this in 1976. Years later, they still proudly create a line of brushes that are unique, effective, and Made in the USA. This summer, clean your grill better—and more safely—with a brush that leaves nothing behind.
