lacks flexibility

10/4/2017 by Flo

I was disappointed to discover that these sleeves are as rigid as they are. It makes it difficult, if not impossible, to clean inside glasses and cups and even plates. Would love for them to be more flexible in the shower as well! Can't say I would recommend this product.

Try using your BUMP IT OFF on some of those hard to clean Kitchen challenges: holes in strainers, grooves in grill pans and tines in forks. As for your Beauty uses, try giving your make-up brushes a good deep cleaning.

Not so handy

10/2/2017 by Diane

These just don't have the versatility I was looking for. Too stiff to clean anything except large flat surfaces without corners & uncomfortable to use on my body in the shower.

BUMP IT OFF shines when used on irregular surfaces, cleaning grout between tiles, removing food particles from colanders, lifting deep stains from fabrics without damaging fibers or how about scrubbing your woven patio furniture before putting it away for the winter.

Didn't work for me

Perhaps it's user error, but I couldn't make these work for me at all. Awkward size, hard to apply any significant amount of pressure when cleaning dishes that aren't flat and large. Even then. Just not as advertised for me at all. Even the cats didn't like it.

Saw someone said they used it as a vegetable cleaner. Maybe I'll try that with the remaining one. I cut up the first one into smaller pieces thinking that perhaps it would work better for me. Quite disappointed.

BUMP IT OFF can be placed on your hand or held in your hand, in many different ways, depending on what you are cleaning. As we know some cats are finicky, my cat Noel (gray cat in the photo) loves the orange BUMP IT OFF so much, I have to hide it. Every time she sees the orange BUMP IT OFF she comes running… Kitty Spa Day! After grooming her, my big chore is to clean up her fur from my sofa and clothes. Happy Kitty – Happy Mommy! You might also want to give BUMP IT OFF a try on your laundry and carpet stains, it’s great at lifting out spots without disrupting the fibers of the fabrics.

Doesn't work well

Used this for greasy pots and pans and will had to get out my scrubber to finish the job.

Maker Reply:

BUMP IT OFF works best on greasy surfaces when your pots are still warm (but not too hot to burn). Since BUMP IT OFF is 100% silicone it will not melt at cleaning temperatures. Don’t procrastinate get those greasy pots cleaned as soon as you finish cooking.

Not great!

Wife not happy!

Did not seem to work for me. Tried on different surfaces, varied uses. Would not recommend.

BUMP IT OFF has many amazing uses in and around the house. You should try… in the Kitchen to clean the holes in your colander, in the Laundry Room to remove stains from denims to silks, in the Livingroom to lift fur and lint from your fabric furniture, in your Bathroom to clean, exfoliate and massage your skin and don’t forget about those make-up brushes. You should try cleaning the woven material of athletic shoes or the suede of your favorite boots.

Not impressed

One side for the most part is used, I didn't catch that in the video. Shows it to work on sofas--picking up pet hair, but I didn't have a similar experience.

BUMP IT OFF’s two sides have very different uses. Fabrics have many different surfaces and textures. The type of fabric you are trying to clean will determine which of the BUMP IT OFF sides you will use. Most upholstered furniture and clothing has a smooth finish, thus you should use the bristle side of the BUMP IT OFF to lift pet fur and lint. You can also use this side for gently working out stains with the appropriate cleaning solution. The bump side is perfect for removing tough stains from both tufted loop and cut-pile carpets. BUMP IT OFF works carpet spot remover deep into the stain without damaging the carpet finish.

I really wanted these to work

8/26/2017 by Deb

I really wanted these to work but sadly they remove very little food debris from my cooking utensils or my post and pans.

BUMP IT OFF’s strong but soft bristles are very good at removing food from between the tines of forks, grooves on grill pans and holes in strainers.

Could be better

Not that impressed. Found it awkward to use and had to apply heavy pressure to get any results even on lightly soiled pan!

There are at least 6 different ways to hold BUMP IT OFF comfortably. Your hand can be inserted from either side with either the bumps or bristles in the palm of your hand. Entering from the slotted side BUMP IT OFF fits in the palm of your hand, allowing you to apply more pressure, or from the finger hole side, your fingertips now have detail control.

These looked like they would work great. They do not. They are neither flexible enough to work on anything except flat surfaces and not tough enough to scrap off burned on grit.

BUMP IT OFF fits in and on your hand in many different positions. If you insert your hand through the slotted side first, BUMP IT OFF will sit in the palm of your hand, allowing you to apply more pressure on either the bump or bristle side. If you insert your fingers through the individual holes, you now have fingertip control and can flex the silicone bumps or bristles to clean away tough messes.

A silicone sponge. Now that’s smart!

Silicone Sleeve

A silicone scrubber makes a lot sense—it’s a non-toxic, antibacterial, and reusable way to clean anything from dishes to fruits to you.

With silicone bristles on one side and bumps on the other, the sleeve design works like an extension of your hand. Clean fruit, scrub dishes, groom pets, de-lint sweaters, exfoliate in the shower, or use it in conjunction with detergent to lift a stain off your favorite shirt.

When you’re done, stick it in the dishwasher or give it a warm-water rinse. It won’t scratch your dishes, grow mildew, or absorb odors.
