Great buy

Beautiful rich color. Placed it in front tree we had an S hook but the package has ordering information for a more elaborate hook if you wish. Love the design and the birds are darting in and out constantly. Lovely item. So glad I bought it !!

The birds love it! Easy to fill, easy to clean and drainage holes so the seed does not sit soggy in rainy weather.

I got this for my Nephew and his wife for Christmas. They live in another state and loved it! They are excited to hang it and watch for the birds! Their daughter is very excited also.

Very nice product

Its very nice, looks great, not your every day bird feeder. It does not come with a hook or wire but I did not find that to be an issue, it does require a sturdy wire and hook because of it's weight.

An incredible addition to my garden in Florida. The song birds sing their praises daily for this feeder.

Attractive addition to our bird feeders

We're very pleased with the Egg Fly Through Feeder. It has been a nice addition to our other feeders. Its design sets it apart as a little more artistic than the others, but the shape is a natural for bird-related items! The small birds are learning its ins and outs...and I like it because the bigger birds don't fit, leaving food for the little ones!

Where are the birds?

7/26/2016 by Sherry

I hung this feeder up over two weeks ago and not one bird has visited. I do like it in that it's difficult for the squirrels to reach it.

Byer Of Maine - Bird Houses & Feeders

For the Birds

Sleeping cots and bird feeders? It might seem like an unusual product lineup, but Byer of Maine makes it work.

The company was founded in 1880 as a textile maker and started producing folding cots during World War II. Making cots for the military, disaster relief organizations, and emergency shelters is still a core part of its business, but with company president Jay Shields at the helm, Byer of Maine has taken to sheltering our fine feathered friends, too. The company’s bird houses and feeders have clever features and thoughtful configurations that naturally cater to the birds. At the same
time, they have a distinctive, sculptural quality that adds something special to your outdoor living space.

Byer of Maine’s bird homes are made from mango wood. The wood is hand-turned by artisans and dried in kilns fueled by the mango wood shavings. Each home comes with drainage holes, to ensure the nest is dry during the rainy season, and a removable hatch for seasonal cleaning. The stoneware bird feeders are constructed with heavy duty porcelain and include an attached tray to catch fallen bird seed. Forged steel hooks make it easy to hang the feeders.

Is it artwork or shelter? These sculptural bird homes and feeders do double duty.
