My niece loved this!

Great conversational piece and, apparently, a fairly accurate clock as well!

Classic, Interesting and Smells Great

11/27/2018 by Ryan

This product was a gift for my wife. She loved the look, scent and concept. It is not accurate to the minute and threading the candle without damaging it can be done if you are not fast and furiously doing so.
It will add interest wherever you place it and is perfect for colonial or antique decor.

I would love to try one of these candles but I don't see the $27.95 candle option? Are you sold out of these?

The Candle by the Hour Story

Candle by the Hour | The Grommet

“Self-Timed” Beeswax Candles

This coiled beeswax candle lets you set how long it burns. The wick burns 20 minutes per every inch that you pull through the clip, then it’ll put itself out. Its beeswax and cotton wick is eco-friendly, too.

The design was part of the 1600s dating scene. Known as a “courting candle”, protective parents would light one to limit the time prospective suitors could spend with their daughters.

Our culture did away with the outdated ritual, but Candles by the Hour kept the beautiful, self-extinguishing design.
