Herbal scents for nose

3/12/2016 by maria rose

If you have ever used a Vicki's like product for a stuffy nose, this product is very similar in scent but in a herbal formation (like tea leaves). I brought it try out to see if it would be good for asthma. (Have a grand daughter with asthma) The scent is good but the dry leaves could be problematic for anyone with asthma. I'll just use it for myself.

Momentary relief

3/8/2016 by Peggy

I was pleased with how quickly my order came. I was a bit surprised that I could smell it before I had even opened the box that it was shipped in. Once opened, the problem was obvious- the lid doesn't fit tightly to the jar. There is a constant aroma and I've moved the jar to a room not often used. As far as the actual product, the mixture does have a strong sent and does seem to help right then. I was hoping that I would see a difference with my sinuses after repeated use, which I haven't.

Fragrant of the herbs makes me feel relax

The fragrant smells good and let me feel relax. But still can't work with my stuffy nose. This is still a good product. I really like it.

nice as aromatherapy

Like the aroma, the packaging, the concept...however it doesn't really "clear" the stuffiness, it's more like it "soothes" your sinuses.

I will continue to use (inhale) something stronger like eucalyptus oil (on a tissue) to truly clear the nasal passages.

Clear Head?

11/4/2018 by Marie

When I first opened the jar of herbs & took a deep breath, I loved it. I put a shell full (shell comes in jar) on my night table not 6 in. from my pillow. The next morning, I could barely smell it directly under my nose. I'm afraid to leave the entire jar open for fear that I would lose the aroma of the entire jar in one night. I think using a diffuser and herbal oils may work more effectively.

Hasn't helped my stuffiness so far:(

4/16/2018 by Mike

I bought both the large jar of herbs and the small liquid bottle. I have not found any relief from using the large jar on a regular (3x daily) basis for a couple weeks now. The aroma seems to be overwhelmingly eucalyptus. Not saying that's good or bad, just an observation. Of course this is an individual thing - your mileage may vary...

The Clear My Head Story

Stuffy? Sniff this.

Soothe Sinuses

Plants clean the air. But they just might be able to clear your head, too. Made with herbs and essential oils hand chosen by aromatherapist Brenda Stansfield, Clear My Head is an all-natural remedy for stuffy noses and other sinus symptoms.

Inhaling just above the jar, you’ll get an invigorating scent of eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender, and other oils like ravensara—a Madagascan oil heralded locally as a cure-all. Or make a steam tent over a bowl of hot water from the tap and some of the botanical blend. Whichever method works for you, it’s more refreshing and refined than smearing on a
petroleum-based rub.

Arriving in Dayton, Ohio from her native Florida, Brenda learned that it’s not called “Sinus Valley” for nothing. Her volunteer job in an arboretum sparked an interest in the healing properties of scents. Now as a certified clinical aromatherapist, she harnesses the power of plants for health.

Brenda makes Clear My Head in small batches to ensure freshness, and packages each jar with a seashell (a reminder of her childhood in the Sunshine State) for scooping.
