Good idea but doesn't hold up

11/3/2019 by Pat

The internal core falls out in every load. A lot of trouble to track down in the clothes and put back together. I would not recommend.

Can't notice the scent

6/27/2019 by Kyle

They work . . . But not any better than ordinary dryer balls. I thought having inserts would be an alternative to dryer sheets. They don't give the clothes much scent.

Good idea, not ready for prime time

3/18/2019 by phil

After using for aprox a year now, the scent sticks have decided to simply fall out of the "eggs". Since these are hard plastic they tend to bang around the dryer and cause a racket, not to mention making dings in the drum. I'd suggest these need some minor redesigning.

Smells good, still have static

3/9/2019 by Caren

The dryer eggs are easy to use and they make the clothes smell nice, but everything i take out of the dryer has a lot of static and the items stick to each other. This does not work as well as the wool balls, and I am sorry that I bought them.

Dryer Egg

1/28/2019 by Cyndi

I really don't like this product. It does not do a good job with static cling. I had to peel off socks from a sweatshirt. While running my dryer with the eggs in it, my husband came running down the stairs and asked what was wrong with the dryer and why it was making such a loud noise? He thought I had shoes in there! It is so loud you can hear them banging around throughout the entire house. I won't use them again.

Ecoegg Hypoallergenic Dryer Egg

I am disappointed it's hard on the clothes but could be ok on towels. I have to keep trying.

Pretry good

Smells good, super heavy and loud in dryer. Can't really see. Huge difference in dried clothing. You could probably skip this one.

Disagreeable odor

The linen odor is disagreeable. Had to toss.

Great idea, but..

10/13/2019 by Cathy

I really wanted to love this product; it’s a great idea- but it does have flaws.
I used it when I dried a good quality fleece blanket, and it just about tore it up, and left MAJOR pilling.
Also, it absolutely does not control dryer static in the least nor does it really soften clothes or other laundered items.
It does smell nice, unlike most fabric softeners with that horrible, fake, perfume, choke-and-cough smell..gag.
I will keep this item, but I won’t use it for my best clothing or household laundry.

Don't waste your money!

6/11/2019 by Paul

I have bought two sets of these "eggs!" Both sets failed very quickly after using them in the dryer. The white "scent" sticks fall out almost every single load. They don't add very much "scent" to the laundry, and since the sticks don't stay in, it's always a chore to put them back together every time one opens the dryer door. Good idea to stop wasting dryer sheets, but the "eggs" themselves FAIL MISERABLY!

The Ecoegg Story

Don’t buy laundry detergent again till 2020.

Laundry Load

When we first heard about Ecoegg’s all-natural, long-lasting laundry detergent alternative and dryer eggs, they sounded almost too good to be true.

When you do the wash, you don’t need to use pods or liquid detergent. Toss Ecoegg’s washer egg in with your load and the pellets inside do the cleaning and stain fighting. Ceramic pellets weaken the bonds between dirt and fabric, while mineral ones ionize the oxygen in the water, lifting grime without damaging fibers.

Each laundry egg comes with enough refillable pellets for 210 or 720 washes. Whether it’s just you or you’re washing for the whole
family, one egg could last for up to three years.

Ecoegg makes hypoallergenic dryer eggs, too. They’re dermatologically tested for sensitive skin. Fragrance sticks infuse your clothes with a fresh scent and the nodules on the egg’s surface soften fabric and reduce drying time by almost a third.

Enjoy a more wallet- and environment-friendly way of doing your laundry.
