Works, but doesnt last as long as they say

8/17/2019 by Linda

I was so excited to purchase this product from the reviews that I read. It really cleans superb. but it does NOT last the amount of loads it says on the box. which is very disappointing. I wont recommend this product because of that reason.

If you are looking for a more natural product to wash laundry with, then this is for you. but know you wont get the amount of loads it says on the box.

Not impressed.

This is my second purchase of the laundry egg as I try to make an effort becoming Eco-friendly. To be honest, I do not see any difference in effectiveness. I'm not certain given the results if this result is worth the investment.

Didn’t work for my family

4/30/2019 by Elaina

I live in Texas where the water is very hard. Between the water, 3 stinky boys, and a messy toddler, the egg didn’t work for us. The clothes came out smelly and didn’t feel clean at all.
I love the concept and am slightly upset it didn’t work out for our family.

Not what I expected

2/25/2019 by beworthey

No matter what detergent I've tried I still get white residue on my clothes. I have tried every form out there. I got excited when I saw this Ecoegg. Unfortunately, it like everything else I've tried left the saw white streaky residue. It is very easy to use, so I will keep using it, but disappointed none the less.

A great idea, but.....

This is such a great - I try to go "natural" whenever possible. But it often doesn't get my clothes clean (anti-antiperspirant residue remains on my black shirts, etc.) I wanted so much for it to work better....

The jury is still out.

I've only used the laundry egg a few times. I pretreated stains as always but the egg didn't finish the cleaning job. I rewashed the items with actual detergent and they came out clean. I may be expecting too much of the egg. I'll continue to try it and see what happens.

The Ecoegg Story

Don’t buy laundry detergent again till 2020.

Laundry Load

When we first heard about Ecoegg’s all-natural, long-lasting laundry detergent alternative and dryer eggs, they sounded almost too good to be true.

When you do the wash, you don’t need to use pods or liquid detergent. Toss Ecoegg’s washer egg in with your load and the pellets inside do the cleaning and stain fighting. Ceramic pellets weaken the bonds between dirt and fabric, while mineral ones ionize the oxygen in the water, lifting grime without damaging fibers.

Each laundry egg comes with enough refillable pellets for 210 or 720 washes. Whether it’s just you or you’re washing for the whole
family, one egg could last for up to three years.

Ecoegg makes hypoallergenic dryer eggs, too. They’re dermatologically tested for sensitive skin. Fragrance sticks infuse your clothes with a fresh scent and the nodules on the egg’s surface soften fabric and reduce drying time by almost a third.

Enjoy a more wallet- and environment-friendly way of doing your laundry.
