Not quite what I thought

11/2/2018 by Myra

The fragrance is nice but have been disappointed that it hasn’t shortened the drying time. I thought it was supposed to do that.

I Like Them, But...

10/10/2018 by Erika

Again, another fantastic concept and price. But even though it feels lightweight in your hand, it sounds incredibly loud in the dryer. I have a front loading dryer with a glass door and I was a little concerned how loud it was knocking around in there. They smell very nice, I wish the smell would hold just a little longer in the clothes, but I've tried other natural fresheners like essential oils on wool balls and the smell doesn't linger in the clothes long either.

I will continue to try to use them but if they can be just a little lighter weight, that's be great!

Mixed review

10/7/2018 by Anne

The fragrance sticks are a very powerful scent, however it is not too strong on the clothing when I take them out of the dryer.
I work from home and my dryer is very near my office. The dryer egg bouncing around in the dryer is louder than I expected. They advertise a shorter drying time for a load of clothing; I am not experiencing that benefit.

Dryer Eggs-OK

9/25/2018 by William

The eggs are very loud. I don’t know about cutting dryer time by 25%. Fragrance is ok. I quess I just expected more.

Did NOT cut drying time at all.

8/6/2018 by Eva M.

I beleve 2-3 tennis or wool balls do the same thing by fluffing the clothes, but as for cutting down drying time, it's NOT working for me.

Feel these and washing egg are not worth the expense and I bought 2 set (1 washing and 2 for drying-each set). I should have teturned them all after first try.

Clothes come out soft and mostly static free, but eggs are noisy in the dryer.

4/2/2018 by Kristin

They basically work good at eliminating static and the clothes come out relatively soft. I've not noticed any reduction in drying time as the product claims stated. The fragrance inserts provided a subtle scent only during the first week or so of use. My biggest complaint is that they are quite noisy thunking away in the dryer. I only use them now with a full load and they are still loud. I was excited at the prospect of a planet and wallet friendly alternative to dryer sheetts, but sadly I don't think I would buy these again.

not very effective

I have done several loads and it is hard to tell that it has shortened the drying time or that the clothes are softer or smell fresher

static electricity

10/29/2017 by robin

Nice, but one problem and one disappointment

Problem: fails to prevent static electricity. While it didn't specify that it would, the failure to eliminate it makes using it without Bounce or similar product a necessity.

Disappointment: lovely fragrance inserted in balls doesn't transfer to clothes. Would recommend forgoing buying additional ones.

Good idea but doesn't hold up

11/3/2019 by Pat

The internal core falls out in every load. A lot of trouble to track down in the clothes and put back together. I would not recommend.

Can't notice the scent

6/27/2019 by Kyle

They work . . . But not any better than ordinary dryer balls. I thought having inserts would be an alternative to dryer sheets. They don't give the clothes much scent.

The Ecoegg Story

Don’t buy laundry detergent again till 2020.

Laundry Load

When we first heard about Ecoegg’s all-natural, long-lasting laundry detergent alternative and dryer eggs, they sounded almost too good to be true.

When you do the wash, you don’t need to use pods or liquid detergent. Toss Ecoegg’s washer egg in with your load and the pellets inside do the cleaning and stain fighting. Ceramic pellets weaken the bonds between dirt and fabric, while mineral ones ionize the oxygen in the water, lifting grime without damaging fibers.

Each laundry egg comes with enough refillable pellets for 210 or 720 washes. Whether it’s just you or you’re washing for the whole
family, one egg could last for up to three years.

Ecoegg makes hypoallergenic dryer eggs, too. They’re dermatologically tested for sensitive skin. Fragrance sticks infuse your clothes with a fresh scent and the nodules on the egg’s surface soften fabric and reduce drying time by almost a third.

Enjoy a more wallet- and environment-friendly way of doing your laundry.
