It's OK

9/13/2017 by Mary

This item works OK. It removes makeup as it says it will and washes out well with soap and water afterward. What I don't like is that it have to rub hard to get it all off and the texture of the cloth feels rough on my skin. My skin feels very dry when the job is done. It's ok because I always use moisturizer anyway, but I'm just not thrilled with this way to remove my makeup. I'd rather remove mine in the shower with my facial cleanser and rinse my face really well so that it feels really clean when done.

I used to use disposable cloths but never felt like my face was getting really clean because there would be traces of makeup on the cotton when I applied toner afterwards. After all the good reviews I had high hopes that I'd found a solution with these. I've used them for a couple of weeks now and am actually still finding even more makeup on the cotton than with the disposable cloths. And I'm scrubbing, which isn't good, either. Am I doing something wrong? I really want these to work! Now on the topic of the makeup washing back out of the cloths when you're finished, it certainly APPEARS to. Seriously, they go back to really white! Any thoughts?

it works

I really liked it but after a few weeks I cannot get it clean. it has stains of makeup I cannot get out. also, I feel it cost WAY TOO MUCH for a little piece of material. Not sure if I will continue to use it.

It has polyester I thought it would be made out of cotton

It worked ok but I would have liked it better if it was cotton

Performs as described but it's a lot of rubbing

I was pleasantly surprised that yes, it took off makeup without a cleanser and yes, it washed up with soap to be sparkling white. I just felt it was too much running on my eyes to get all the mascara and eyeliner off. I did try it with a bit of cleanser on the eye area and that worked great but I felt defeated the point of the towel. I haven't really used it since. My daughter may like it.

I really like these but....

I found the cloth to work very well. But after I had the cloth is when I realized the recommendation was to replace it every 3 - 4 months. Not only is this not eco friendly but why is there not a package that has the cloths for a year at a decent price? I am sad that I found something that works so nicely that I have to throw out after 4 months.

Too much trouble

It’s a good idea but it doesn’t work for me.

Although the item works as described, it's much more pricey than similar items I've found.

Gift purchase

I bought as a gift for my daughter. She says it's a 'glorified washcloth' and difficult to clean. She wasn't impressed.

The FaceOff Story

This cloth will change your face.

Fresh Face

Freshen up and wick off the dirt, grime, and oil from the day with just water and this makeup remover cloth.

Its thin-as-hair microfiber weave cleans your pores after a quick dip in warm water. The cloth isn’t treated with soap or other substances, which makes it extra harmless on sensitive skin and sensitive areas of your face (think: mascara-coated lashes).

FaceOff is eco-friendlier, too. You’re not throwing out makeup wipes after a single run. Once the dirt is off your face and on the cloth, wash it off with soapy water, then rinse. It all comes right off and your cloth goes back to its
original, super-white form.

Maker Adine Binder knows the perils of face cleansing all too well. She struggled with acne and breakouts into adulthood and wanted a straightforward, soft solution. She distilled it to a single, dependable ingredient: water.

Thoroughly wipe off the day’s grime with something portable, super-soft, and gentle on your skin.
