Nice, but...

7/17/2016 by Annemone

I bought the gold one, and I like it, but the opening for the claw of my necklace is too small. Wah! I sent it to my sister, a jeweler, for modification.

Too heavy. Constantly pulling necklace up. Very pretty though.

Love it but....

7/13/2016 by Linda

The section where the clasp on the necklace clips on, is to big (thick). My small clasps would not fit. I had to take my necklaces to the jeweler and paid to have larger clasps so I could use with this. Now that I have clasp that will fit, I love it.

These work well but are pricey and heavy. They slide around to the front if you are wearing thin light weight chains

You'll have to buy one for every necklace

The clasp on this that attaches to the necklace is small and as difficult to use as the clasp on the necklace itself. The hole for the necklace's clasp to fit into is small and difficult to "hit". So don't expect to transfer this attachment easily between necklaces.

The magnetic clasp itself works well, once you have it attached. However, it is relatively heavy and tends to drag the chain down the back of your neck.

Didn't fix my clasps broke my necklace.

Sorry to say that It broke my clasp on the necklace and it appeared that the side where you used your necklace clasp was made too thick for a smaller or oval shaped clasp.
I was disappointed because I really wanted it to work. It didn't clarify that it wouldn't fit all necklaces. Also I wonder if being made in China caused the problem? Maybe it was a quality issue

Beautiful and clever BUT half of the magnet and one crystal fell off after wearing for a relatively short time!! It was awesome while it lasted though the heart is quite heavy and slowly fell down the chain when worn with dainty necklaces. I have poor fine motor coordination for latching jewelry and really hoped this was the answer.

Not Easy

7/15/2016 by Lorraine

I liked the look of these but was disappointed to find I had a very difficult time opening the magnet. It was almost too strong. Plus it is not easy to use on more than one necklace. The clipping and unclipping of the clasp each time, especially with arthritis in my hands was too difficult. Would be easier with a larger, possibly, claw-like clasp. Would not buy more unless the ease of use was improved so that it could be used on additional necklaces.

Good idea but doesn't fit

I hoped this item work; however, I tried it on five necklaces and it fit none of them - from a family heirloom to a recently purchased one. The clasps would not fit around the space provided on the heart. If the clasps were that big to start with I would not need this in the first place!

too small

Too small to even try to attach to the end of necklaces to use. The end of my necklaces will not fit through the small attachment. Would love to return, but it is now 66 days since purchase.

The Fairy Fastener Story

Put a bracelet on yourself—without swearing.

Bracelet Yourself

Triplets Terri, Rhonda, and Lou put their identical problem-solving heads together to solve an everyday issue—how to put on necklaces and bracelets all by yourself.

These entrepreneurial ladies call themselves the Fairies—and their jewelry clasp helpers Fairy Fasteners. The Bracelet Fairy acts like an extension of your hand as it holds the bracelet firmly in place so you can secure the clasp with your free hand. Its ergonomic shape is weighted and fits comfortably in your palm.

The Necklace Fairy is just as helpful. Clip it onto your necklace, and now the heart-shaped fastener acts like a
magnetic clasp that is much easier to open and close. Internal pins help keep it shut, but it re-opens with a twist.

Thanks to the fairies—and their tools—putting on your favorite jewelry is as easy as waving a wand.
