Questionable

12/30/2018 by Deanna

I gave to my 26 yr old granddaughter and as she opened it,replied "what is it?" She is up on every "cool" thing on the market and we both agreed it is very awkward to hold/use for anything. I'm disappointed, especially since it is pricey and receipe to not thrilled in the least.

Gets the Job Done

I'm on the fence about this product. The design is clever but it's very heavy to the point where I can't hold it long enough to finish my chicken noodle soup. Also, I prefer a thin lip on my cups and mugs but this is really thick. Love the concept but the actual item doesn't work for me. Out to the donation center it goes.

Smaller than I expected. The pictures look misleading.

Wish I had not purchased

3/14/2018 by Doris

The first time I used this item, I put 2 ladles of soup in, picked it up and almost dropped it, it was SO hot. Advertisement shows item being cradled in your hands using the thumb hole to help hold it. Might be good for cold cereal, don't know because I have never used it since the first time I tried it. Waste of money.

Not the best idea.

Hated It!

9/23/2017 by Diane

Some time ago, I purchased this bowl. To use it, you must hold your hand in a very uncomfortable position with your elbow touching your side, requiring you to twist your wrist. I couldn't finish my soup. Down the drain went my tomato soup. Also, the inside isn't easy to clean as it has an indentation where the thumb hole is. Into the dumpster it went!

The Flavour Design Studio Story

Eating on the couch gets chic.

Hold Your Meal

As much as we’d like to eat at the table, it doesn’t always happen. Thankfully, the shape of Buddha Bowl’s Japanese-inspired designs are comfortable to hold, whether eating lunch at your desk or watching a movie on the couch.

Founder Élan McPherson created her original Buddha Bowl for her arthritic grandmother. Its ergonomic curves make it easy to grip and hold onto without needing to set it on a table. The Udon Noodle Bowl is a way to enjoy ramen and noodles—it even has slots to rest chopsticks between bites.

Handmade in the USA and Canada, these over-sized bowls are dishwasher and microwave
safe. They’d even make a great gift for college students who eat in their dorms.

And there’s no limit to what meals you can enjoy—salad, rice, mac & cheese, ice cream, or an XL cup of coffee in the morning. Whatever you use these bowls for, you’ll eat or drink comfortably.
