Coffee all summer

by

These filters are such a great invention. The cold brew is great for supplementing the frozen coffee cubes I use to make coffee frappes'.

Love it!

by

I’ve been making cold brew laboriously for a year now and BRUW has made the process a breeze! I bought two 64 oz Mason jars to make my brew, and it works perfectly! As someone stated previously shaking the bottles once turned over to filter through definitely helps. I’d definitely give this as a gift again (did that too!). Yes, why didn’t I think of this!

So happy I bought this. It works as they claim it does. I have also come to learn how cold brew coffee it more health benefits when it is cold brewed than hot coffee. You can learn about that on YouTube.

Wide mouth cold brew mason jar filter

by

Bought as a gift for my husband. Amazing how buying something can save you money. Made 3 mason jars of coffee now he has cold brew waiting for him in the fridge a heck of a lot cheapir than Starbucks or even buying cold brew at the grocery store

This is da bomb!

by

As indicated in the description, this filter with two ball jars brews the smoothest iced coffee I've ever tasted. What a neat little invention! Yet another way to enjoy a satisfying cuppa. Nice going, Grommet!

Works well if you follow instructions

by

It took me a time or two to figure out the best way to get the coffee to go through the filter, and it's all about remembering to SHAKE when you invert the jars. Merely turning it over will lead to a slow dripping process. If you give it a good shake, the straw in the filter does its "glug, glugging" work. When I do it right, the coffee all flows through in a manner of seconds. If some remains, instead of tapping, I give it another shake-- you want the airflow through the straw to do the work.

When I first used this grommet, I had mixed results but now it works every time. And the coffee is fabulous!

The BRUW Story

BRUW | Cold Brew Mason Jar Kit

Mason Brew

Make your very own cold brew coffee, easily. Put this cold brew coffee maker filter onto a wide-mouth mason jar.

It’s super straightforward. Let coffee grounds soak in a cold-water-filled mason jar for over twelve hours. When you’re ready to get your caffeine dose, twist the filter onto that jar with the straw side down. Then twist the second mason jar on top of the filter. Flip. Shake. And watch your cold brew filter through.

In case you’re uninitiated to cold brew, it’s smoother, less acidic, and it’s easier on your tummy (and teeth, too) than coffee brewed with heat. Less acidity also means
you can better taste all the subtle flavors—like traces of chocolate, fruit, and nut inherent in different beans.

And even though grown-ups are the ones most likely to enjoy their coffee, this filter was invented by a teen. Max Feber was just 16 when he came up with the idea. It’s one you’ll be able to enjoy every day.
