Paper or Plastic?

I like these for the fact that they are paper but not sure I see a whole lot of difference in the life of the cheese compared to plastic. Especially for the price.

Ok...

I probably should have gotten the cheese bags instead. The paper is ok, but the box it came in was damaged pretty badly, probably in shipping, and the paper is hard to wrap around the cheese and keep secure. Once you get it around it, you need to tape it or lay the cheese down where it will not open right back up.

The Formaticum Story

Formaticum - European style cheese paper

It's a Wrap

Calling all cheese lovers—if you want to keep that wedge of brie creamy and full of flavor, it’s time to stop suffocating it in plastic wrap.

Do as the French do and keep it fresh with a two-ply cheese paper called Formaticum made in where else but France.

While everyday non-porous food storage solutions block oxygen and trap humidity killing cheese and accelerating the growth of mold, Fomaticum wicks away moisture and delivers oxygen to maintain flavor and prevent spoilage. The results are nothing short of delicious.
