I am always dropping small articles between the console and the drivers seat. Does the job!

Not up to snuff

There are no comprehensive instructions given with this item.

How many batteries are supposed to be in the led light? I know they are button batteries, but how many? When trying to turn it on and figure out how to open it, it flew apart and all but one of the batteries went flying. Simple information, I probably can keep putting batteries in until it works, but that info (takes x# of y batteries) could very easily have been given either on the box or in a small insert.

The little bit of label on the main post says "fully extend claw, turn claw to lock". HOW? I was frustrated by the time I figured it out. How about "To extend claw, rotate claw to the right until it unlocks, and extend the claw to the length needed. Then rotate the claw to the left to lock it. Use the finger grips to open and close the claw prongs to grab the item. After your item is retrieved, unlock the claw by turning to the right and retract to its original location, turn left to lock and store until needed."

The magnet is the only thing I could use right away without playing with it until it worked.

Simple clear instructions can resolve all those issues.

Appears to be functional relative to my needs.

Have not really used this tool other than trying it out when first received. I am confident it will perform as needed based on my initial evaluation.

One of Hubby's birthday gift

11/13/2018 by Faith

My hubby had a lot of neat items from The Grommet for his 76th birthday. Every one of them were great - except.....
this 19" telescopic grabbing multi-toll worked great except the little flashlight. When it didn't work, my hubby (he is an electrician) took the battery to see if it was dead - it had corrosion all the battery & you can see that this was a new gift. I would like to get a new flashlight - it had to be old due to the corrosion. Thank you.

Poor Quality

The wire claws do not pick up items as well as the rubber ones on the other grabbing tool that I have. When I tried to pick up my phone off of the carpet the wire claws kept getting caught in the carpet loops.

Works but not as strong as I had hoped.

This is a great tool and it works as described. However, be careful when storing it because there is both to protect the exposed “grabbers” from breaking off while in storage.

The ODii Story

A teeny, tiny hand that’s better than yours.

Little Retriever

When keys, loose change, credit cards—or even your phone—get stuck in hard-to-reach places, ODii can give you a hand. This grabbing tool has a tiny claw that lets you control the grip. It’s like a mini version of that arcade claw game, but it doesn’t let go.

Squeeze the handle firmly for a tighter hold. For a more delicate item, ease up on the grip. The slim, flexible body bends to navigate awkward angles—like behind the fridge, under furniture, or between the seats in the car. For extra help, a super strong magnet holds up to two pounds, and a detachable LED light brightens up the search
area.

Creator Kenn Buxton invented ODii after an unfortunate trip to the drive-thru. He dropped his cash between the car seats, and was unable to pay because he couldn’t reach it.

With this grabber in a kitchen drawer or your glove box, you’ll be ready next time something drops out of arm’s reach.
