Motion light

6/23/2017 by Gaetano

This light works great. The unit itself brightens the area so much that there is no need to turn on the bathroom light. The only thing is that the attachment arm could be just a little longer, but it does work. I gave it four only because of the arm otherwise it is definitely a five.

Good idea, but....

My hubby peed on it a lot so it rusted within 2 months. Not worth it, I wish it worked. It is a fabulous idea that needs work

ALMOST PERFECT!

I have had 3 of the toilet lights and loved them all with the exception that they don't last! That's why I have had 3 but I'm not going to buy another.

Great light but didnt last long

1/3/2019 by Donna

Bought this for my husband who gets up frequently during the night. He does not like to turn on the bathroom light because it wakes me up. This light worked perfectly BUT it did not last even a year. We tried changing batteries but it stopped working. We took perfect care of it, I wiped it off every week when I cleaned the toilet and it was never peed on. So we were not happy the life of this product was so short.

Not as advertised.

Three months ago, the "Illumibowl" was promoted on Grommet.
The idea sounded fun, unique, and worth the almost $15 they were asking for. And for 3 months it worked just great, did exactly what the instructions said it would do.
Then it started to fail rapidly. It went from a constant white light (also the sequential color series setting) to a very pale green, to not working at all. New batteries did nothing for it. I had gotten the same item earlier about 6 months ago from another store and with the same results. I was really hoping that this model would have been an upgrade, but no such luck. Back then, that earlier product cost about half what they're asking for it now. So it's worth maybe $5 at best (not the $14-15).
Bottom line: If you like the idea of an illuminating toilet bowl, buy at least 4 of them (yes that's right, almost $60). That way, you'll have at least a year's worth of illumination (3 months of use per Illumibowl) to play with.
I do NOT recommend this product!

Nice

It is very nice to have. Although, it seems to have a mind of its own. It comes on at night when no one is in the bathroom. I can see it from my bed. I have moved it to the guest bathroom.

Great product

Great product except I had to take away points due to the fact I saw this product at a local store cheaper. And without shipping charges would have cost 1/2 the price.

2nd one not working

8/8/2018 by Vawn

Yes this worked for a little while and stopped. I replaced the batteries thinking it was the problem. But it still does not work. Not very happy. When it was working it was nice, but doesn't stay working for some reason. Disappointed signed vawn portash. P.S. This is my second one!

I loved it while it lasted

It's the coolest thing ever, but after the first set of batteries we can't get it to work anymore.

The IllumiBowl Story

Does your toilet glow?

Glow Bowl

This motion-activated toilet light solves a common dilemma for nighttime bathroom trips: risk jolting yourself awake with the overhead light or bump into stuff in the dark. IllumiBowl softly lights up the bowl, guiding without blinding you.

Suction cups keep IllumiBowl secure on the toilet’s rim. Kids going through potty training will think a glowing toilet is pretty great, especially when they get to choose from eight different color settings.

Anyone who has fallen into a toilet with the lid up (so most women, right?) or bumped into it in the dark will appreciate this dutiful bathroom
attendant. Read More Read Less
