Beautiful chime

7/2/2020 by Ivy

I bought two boothbay chimes with the cardinal for the first year since my mom passed. Being Mainers and her family history born in boothbay I thought it would very appropriate. One for my dad and one for my aunt. Always happy to support a Maine business and shipping was incredibly fast. Thank you! My great uncle used to make these so lots of meaning with it. Love it, thank you.

I knew I was going to love my bell

7/1/2020 by Cassidy

I was floored when I came across these bells. I went to Bar Harbor about 20 years ago and fell in love with Maine. When I saw the bell, I thought how neat! Then I saw the Bar Harbor sound and I was sold. My bell came today, and it is already up on my patio. I ring it every time I go outside. I am so happy with this bell, and I think the price is unbeatable for the value and sturdiness of it. The little cardinal is so cute (we live in Ohio, so that is extra special). I love the look and sound of the bell. Ridiculously happy with my purchase. Shipping was amazingly fast also.

Beautiful Sound.

I purchased the Buoy Bells by North Country Wind Bells as a Father's Day gift for my husband. It was placed on a heavy tree branch in our back garden of the house. It is beautiful to listen to and I personally love the red cardinal!

Got the Chesapeake bouy for a friend who graduated from the Naval Academy and he loved the sound replicated by the chime.
Made his day!

FUN ADDITION TO YARD

6/23/2020 by PATRICK

The Camden Reach Buoy Bell with the Cardinal wind catcher is perfect in our back yard. The yard is full of cardinals, blue jays, doves, wrens and more. They are constantly at our bird feeder. Hung from the same tree on the opposite side from the bird feeder is the new buoy bell. It fits in perfectly and looks as if it has always been there.
Only problem, we haven't had much wind so far and have heard the chimes only a couple of times. Fall should bring us more windy days.
Friends who have seen the Buoy Bell have raved about it.

Great As Ever

We enjoyed our buoy bell for ten years before it gave up its clapper and it was time to replace it. The new one is just as satisfying and it appears to now have a fortified clapper assembly. We are delighted with the purchase and very pleased with the rapid secure shipping. Thank You, North Country Wind Bells!

My Buoy Bell with cardinal is mounted beautifully in our garden and I'm looking forward to sharing the other two of the same with my sister and daughter for their upcoming special occasions. Thanks for a great product!

The North Country Wind Bells Story

North Country Wind Bells | Buoy Wind Bells

Sound Of The Sea

Jim Davidson was a lobsterman in Maine for years. Buoy bells chiming as he hauled in his lobster traps was a favorite sound—equal parts peaceful and melodic, and an indicator that he was safely close to harbor.

Jim was so enamored with the sound that he and his wife, May, began creating their own wind chimes to capture it. Their North Country Wind Bells are made at home in Maine and capture the tones of over 20 coastal and harbor bells.

Each location has a distinctive sound—from Bar Harbor to San Francisco—that Jim and May have carefully recreated. They started by recording as many local bells
as they could. They then fine-tuned their own bells by ear until the sound was just right.

The bells and windcatchers are crafted from recycled steel by many of the locals in the Davidsons' small town, and should last for at least 20 years of coastal-inspired sound.
