No luck

Our dog got tangled in it and snapped the vertical bar the first time we tried to fly it. My son tried to repair it. But we could never get it aloft. I think it is a nice kite. We just had bad luck.

2 out of two were poor

I purchased two of these, one arrived without the crossbar, the second the factory tied line broke the very first flight. This happened over deep water, the kite sank quite rapidly and we could not get out to it before it disappeared from sight.

Wouldn't Fly

So disappointed. I ordered this because kites are so hard to fly and keep In the air. This one sounded like an answer to that problem. We ordered it to go kite flying with our grandchildren. Everyone was excited, and so disappointed when no one could get it to fly. It was nice and windy and we followed the instructions exactly, but never could get it up in the air.

My mom bought this for my kids. None of them were able to make it work and the bridge on it broke while trying to put it together again to give it another try.

Poor instructions

It was very difficult to figure out the correct way to assemble the kite and if we never got it working properly before it broke.

It’s a Breeze

A kite launcher with a fishing pole design, the Castakite is the perfect device for kids and kiting novices. Launch just by pushing a button, reel back in like you just caught a trout. Flying a kite is now a breeze.

Unsurprisingly, Castakite’s founder, Matthias Hackett, is an avid fly fisherman. He wanted a way to inspire kids to play outdoors and thought the lure of easy kite flying would do the trick. Using his fishing rod for inspiration, he made getting a kite in the air as easy as pressing a button.

Castakite is Made in the USA, and it comes fully assembled with a kite included. Open the
package and you’re ready for flying. It also works with your own kite, too. Without having to worry about tangles, burns from strings, and, especially, crashing kites, this form of easy kite flying is sure to keep you hooked. Read More Read Less
