We ordered this for the grandparents living up north around a ton of lakes....had to take a peak before sending it up and I have o say it was so beautiful and well made!! I know they are just gonna LOVE it! He fishes a lot and I know the depth parts will help him with that as well as being a nice conversation piece around the house. Haven't seen anything like this before and was very, very happy with our order!

Beautifully done

After 69 yrs we moved out of NJ and left behind our beloved Fayson Lakes. My hubby grew up there and once married we moved there too. This artwork is a beautiful reminder of what we left behind and a wonderful addition to our Fayson memory wall

A+ Customer Service

12/13/2018 by Kaitlyn

I had an excellent experience dealing with Lake Art, LLC regarding a customer service need for a 11x14 map I recently received. They responded to my email in less than 12 hours and were very attentive with each reply. Their solution to my issue was beyond gracious and I couldn't be more pleased! On top of that, the artwork is beautiful and I'm excited to gift it this holiday season! 100% would recommend this company and their products to friends, family, and strangers!

I received the framed map a week or so ago. It’s a Christmas gift for my parents. I’m so thrilled with it I wanted to give it to them early. It’s perfect!

I bought this as a gift for my Dad's 87th birthday. He LOVED it! He shows it to everyone. And on several occasions and we've caught him with the frame on his lap "studying" the map. I don't believe I have EVER given him anything that he liked more than this map. It even shows the named tributary that ran right in front of his "old home place" where he was born and raised.
This lake map touched a special place for Daddy and I am SO appreciative.

As my Husband and I approach our 5th (Wood) year of marriage. I feel like I struck gold when I found these amazing maps. Both born and raised in Southern California in the same small fisherman town. We have spent every Summer vacationing on Catalina Island. It is by far our special place so when I saw that I could have a custom wood map made of "our" island that holds so many wonderful memories, I WAS SOLD! So well made and the attention to detail is amazing.

Thank you! He is going to love it!

They were thrilled!

It was a gift for family that moved to Traverse City. They can see the water from their home. They were thrilled with the gift. They still talk about it!!!

The Lake Art Story

Lake Art | The Grommet

Great lakes

These maps aren’t just made for navigating. They are custom-made for commemorating that special lake in your life.

The perfect keepsake for decorating your home, cabin, or cottage, Lake Art wooden wall maps feature intricate details of more than 4,000 lakes including shorelines, two colors, and up to eight depth dimensions. Who would’ve thought bathymetry (the study of the depths and shapes of underwater terrain) could be so beautiful.

The laser-cut maps also depict surrounding towns and major roads giving your lake a sense of place and belonging. Each piece is handcrafted from scratch and
made to order in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Lake Art leaves no lake unfinished—the framing is exquisite. And your lake can even be turned into a cribbage board. Read More Read Less
