I wasn't sure if it would work as well as advertised but it really does. So pleased with this purchase.

A great tool for bug lovers and haters alike

If you love bugs, this tool gets them nicely and contains them so you can put the bug outside. If you hate bugs, this tool gets them at a safe distance so you don't have to get close! All of my kids love this as well.

Works well

A millipede was transported out of the house - alive - thanks to this Critter Catcher. Easily and effectively done. We thank you and the millipede thanks you.

I use this for more than spiders

I've needed one of these for a long time. I purchased this item due to having to pick up dead Grass Hoppers, spiders etc.... in our downstairs den. We have our home sprayed every 3 months which works great except for the fact that critters still get into the house then they die leaving me to have to pick them up for disposal. I love this critter catcher/picker upper for that fact. It even comes with a plastic spider for practice.

Gain power over your fear

This year we have started seeing spiders in our office for the first time ever. Some of the ladies in our office are very afraid of them. They LOVE the My Critter Catcher! After a little coaxing they now feel in control and I think a couple of them actively look for spiders each day just to get to use the catcher, lol. It really does work quite easily and we haven't had to touch any of them to release them. This is a must have. I think iot could also be a safe way for young children (supervised) to capture, study and release critters. Thank you!

Great Insect Grabber

I bought this for my granddaughter who has a phobia with spiders. Well, she used it for the first time yesterday and she was very happy with it. She texted me first thing this morning telling me about how she managed to trap a spider (shaking but she did it) and put it outside. Normally she screams and calls maintenance for help! She is very thankful for this gadget and, even though she didn't say it, I think it turned out to be the best birthday present she received from me. I'm sure the maintenance people are extremely happy they won't get anymore hysterical calls from her.

I bought 2 of these, one for each floor in my home. Easy to use and picks up the bugs first try. One minor thing is that the cover comes off too easily, but one can avoid that by being keeping that in mind when handling the unit.
Well made, and worth the price.

The My Critter Catcher Story

The tool for spider lovers and haters alike.

A safe distance

Whether you’re deathly afraid of crawly insects or an avid believer in their right to live, this handheld bug catcher is for you.

Squeeze the handle to open the bristles, release to grasp the bug, and squeeze again to free it—somewhere outside, we presume. The firm outer bristles help grip larger bugs (beetles, spiders, and even scorpions). Inside, the soft nylon bristles keep even smaller bugs safe.

With the long handle, you’ll enjoy a comfortable 25-inch distance from the critter. And that length also lends some leeway to grab insects in hard-to-reach spots.

Tony Allen designed My Critter
Catcher for his afraid-of-spiders son. Because spiders are helpful predators who get rid of other pests, Tony wanted a non-harmful way to catch and release.

This invention lets you declare “long live the bugs” and “keep that thing away from me” in one combined sweep.
