pretty but need larger size

This is a great idea but I would really like a larger, bolder version for some of my shawls to make a statement.

So - so

Other reviews mentioned questionable quality; I had no problem there with the one I bought for myself or the one I bought for a gift. The magnet is not as strong as I had hoped, though. It works fine for holding a scarf in place, but isn't really strong for keeping a sweater closed if you are at all active. It is a really pretty item, but I wish it were bigger for more of a fashion statement.

Good idea that doesn't work.

I love the idea of the Magne Button, but , it's not strong enough to hold a sweater together. when bending over I'm on the look-out for the magnet to pop off.

Not that good

They do look pretty. Although the first one I got already has a crystal out of it after only wearing it twice and the pearl finish on the second pair was marred when I received them. I like the concept but wish they were a little more durable.

Gold MagneButton is not like picture

12/8/2014 by Terry

I ordered 3 different Magnebuttons: silver, pearl and gold.
The Gold does not look like the one in the picture. It looks like faded inexpensive brass. The silver and pearl ones are fine. However, the product is quite heavy and bulky and the weight pulls down the fabric on many of my scarves. It is an elegant idea to have a pretty accessory and clasp but the design needs refinement.

Beautiful item fancy crystal

I love this item, but am disappointed because the magnetic has come out of one side of the button. In guess I have to find some glue or figure out another method. If the magnet stayed where it should have it would be a definite 5.

They work well. However, I was disappointed that the metal is dull no shiney like they look in the picture

i will give this product a 3 because it's such a great idea. I ordered the gold finish and was immediately disappointed with the color. it looks much better pictured than in person. I used it to close a thin synthetic shawl and it came off three times. The first and second time, one side of the shawl slipped out-leaving the magnets together. The third time, one half came apart and fell off. I would probably try again with a different garment, but the finish will keep me from doing so...

Good concept...

Love the concept but I was hoping the magnets would be stronger. Still useful though...just not on thicker cardigans.

I really like mine. However, there are a couple things I wasn't expecting. I was expecting 2 separate MagneButtons...meaning, I thought I'd have 2 buttons to use...not 2 that go together making ONE button. Sure, I can find a similar sized metal/magnet to go on the back of each pretty crystal...I just wasn't expecting to have to...

The other thing that threw me is it's not as strong as advertised. It won't hold on to a thick sweater. And, if it does it doesn't stay when you move around. I've lost mine several times...pops off I am not sitting at my desk...heaven forbid I help a customer while wearing it. My solution for this is a safety pin...which completely negates the whole reason I bought this ONE button in the 1st place.

The MagneButton Story

MagneButton - Magnet Closure Accessory

Get It Together

Multiple layers of fabric are no match for MagneButton, a clever problem-solver that lets you style and fasten your clothes without damaging them. If you have a scarf that won’t stay put, a cardigan that keeps opening up, or a plain hat in need of some flair, the double-sided MagneButton is the perfect no-holes solution.

The creator, shop owner Christy Grierson, came up with the idea after listening to her customers complain about cardigans without closures. What they needed was a safety pin—but who wants to ruin a great look with a safety pin? Christy started tinkering with heavy-duty magnets
and adding embellishments to make them more fashionable. Her designs were an instant hit, ranging from classic, subtle patterns to more expressive, bold prints.

Christy’s simple yet hardworking accessory can help you pull your outfit together. . . literally.
