neat idea

I bought this for my husband who enjoys math but we haven't played it yet. Our sons in law played it at Christmas and what fun they had! It is more complicated than I had thought but still think I can use it for grandchildren when they come. There are quite a few different ways to play it so it is versatile.

A gift for my Grandson

It looks absolutely terrific and I can't wait to play it with him when we see him at the beginning of October. He's 7, but is very advanced in arithmetic, so we can't wait to see how he enjoys it.

Fun Math Crossward Puzle

7/27/2016 by Marilyn

This looks like a very fun game. I bought it to play with my 11 year old grandson who loves math! We haven't had a chance to play it yet, but we will have an opportunity to try it in a couple of weeks. I am looking forward to it. I love the little blue whale game piece holder. It is very cute and seems well constructed.

Great fun but challenging! Not as easy as you might think.

Fun and learning

My 8&10 year old grandchildren enjoyed it. It can be played by one or several. Well made. Good concept for learning while having fun. The only thing I would change is the price. A little expensive.

good game

This great for my 9 year old grandson but my 7 year old granddaughter is struggling to understand how to play. I like the concept and would recommend it to all parents and grandparents of young children. It really re-enforces math in a fun way.

Fun!

Good way to reinforce basic number facts and also keep adult brains working with balancing and making long equations. Made for a fun family game night.

The Möbi Story

Math lovers (and haters) unite!

Calculated Fun

Möbi is a fun, fast-paced number tile game. The goal is to make simple math equations as quickly as possible—a great way for kids or grown-ups to apply math skills. Plus, it comes in an adorable blue whale.

Players draw blue number tiles, then use them to create simple equations (like 2+3=5) by including white math tiles (plus signs, minus signs, multiplication signs, etc.). Each valid equation is called a “pod.” Keep using your blue tiles to build new equations on those pods, almost like a crossword.

The first one to use all their blue tiles yells “Möbi” to win. Wild card tiles and a few
other creative rules make this a great family game. Want to play with younger kids? Just remove the multiplication and division tiles.

With no scores to calculate or paper or pencils, all you need to play Möbi is a flat surface. It’s a great travel, beach, or picnic game. And it can help kids with hand-eye coordination, cooperative play, and automaticity, which is the ability to apply learning automatically without actively thinking about it.

Wife-husband creators Vanessa and Mark Ellingson like classic word games (Scrabble, Bananagrams) that disguise learning as play. They wanted to invent a game their son, Noah, would stay interested in as he grows up.

Whether or not you think you love math, you’re bound to love Möbi.
