A perfect Gift

My neighbor's granddaughter is 5 1/2 yrs old. This game will fascinate and help her grow for the next couple of years.

My nieces are going to love learning while playing a game. The packaging is adorable.

Great choice!!!

I bought this item for my grandson. He is in kindergarten and will help him prepare for future math. The division and multiplication may be a bit too difficult at his level right now, but I'm very pleased it is also included for future use. He loves puzzles and I know he will love this item. He also loves a challenge! This was a for sure buy for me when I first saw it!!
Thank you Grommet for another great gift idea!!!

So far so good

High quality build; game seems sensible -- "just different enough" from Bananagrams,

Kids aged 6 and 5 seem to have enjoyed it and to have learned a few things in spite of their best efforts to only have fun. ;)

Fun, educational game.

Everyone in the family enjoys playing, all ages.

Fun learning

This game has been great way to engage kids in math equations. They have fun while learning and/or reinforcing learning.

Fun for all!

Whether you do the math in your head or use your fingers, everyone in the family can play. The bag is great as it is small enough to fit in the game drawer but large enough to hold all the pieces without forcing them in. Great learning toy.

Lots of fun!

Great for our 6 year old who needed practice on her addition and subtraction basics. As she got more solid we would do time challenges to see who could beat the clock or use up all the tiles fastest. Also loved the cute little bag to keep it all tidy.

Enjoyable for all ages!

I recently purchased three Mobi tile games to give to young friends as gifts. Only one has been given so far, but the whole family is enjoying it. My purpose was to reinforce math skills in a fun and nonelectronic way. The first one has certainly hit the mark!

The Möbi Story

Math lovers (and haters) unite!

Calculated Fun

Möbi is a fun, fast-paced number tile game. The goal is to make simple math equations as quickly as possible—a great way for kids or grown-ups to apply math skills. Plus, it comes in an adorable blue whale.

Players draw blue number tiles, then use them to create simple equations (like 2+3=5) by including white math tiles (plus signs, minus signs, multiplication signs, etc.). Each valid equation is called a “pod.” Keep using your blue tiles to build new equations on those pods, almost like a crossword.

The first one to use all their blue tiles yells “Möbi” to win. Wild card tiles and a few
other creative rules make this a great family game. Want to play with younger kids? Just remove the multiplication and division tiles.

With no scores to calculate or paper or pencils, all you need to play Möbi is a flat surface. It’s a great travel, beach, or picnic game. And it can help kids with hand-eye coordination, cooperative play, and automaticity, which is the ability to apply learning automatically without actively thinking about it.

Wife-husband creators Vanessa and Mark Ellingson like classic word games (Scrabble, Bananagrams) that disguise learning as play. They wanted to invent a game their son, Noah, would stay interested in as he grows up.

Whether or not you think you love math, you’re bound to love Möbi.
