Great Purchase

I purchased this for my husbands 5th grade classroom. He will use it to incentivize his students to finish their work. The benefit is the increased math proficiency they will achieve while having fun with math.

This has to be one of the best Grommet gifts. From the moment my grandchildren got it, they were hooked. I originally bought three sets to give to my grandchildren. Now I have to buy more for their friends. Three generations are playing together. Couldn't ask for anything better

Purchased this to play with my 5 year old visitor and we love it. You can adapt it to their level of math skills and still have a terrific time. Well made. Glad I made the purchase.

Looks like a lot of fun!!!!

I bought this for a Christmas present but I may wind up buying another if I cannot keep myself from opening it before then!!!!

the kids love Mobi...

Awesome! From the four yr. to the ten yr. old, after Mobi
the whale's contents were left with the two girls, didn't see them for about two hours...all was giggly, laughing, and learning something of arithmetic! I've bought more than
one, and am waiting for the next two grandchildren to grow
a little more, and will then send Mobi the whale to them, tout de suite.

Awesome product

Bought three of these for my grandchildren. They are gifts so they haven't actually played with them yet but all three moms gave it a huge thumbs up. Moms especially liked the Whale bag for holding the tiles - felt it was a "bonus"

Great game!

Perfect for my son. He can play with others, or even on his own, just practicing math skills. Nice small pouch to carry it around, great for traveling and for storing.

Great game!

Got it for a girlfriend who teaches 7th grade math and the kids who've played it have really enjoyed it. She admitted that they weren't into it at first, but after one round, they were hooked.

The Möbi Story

Math lovers (and haters) unite!

Calculated Fun

Möbi is a fun, fast-paced number tile game. The goal is to make simple math equations as quickly as possible—a great way for kids or grown-ups to apply math skills. Plus, it comes in an adorable blue whale.

Players draw blue number tiles, then use them to create simple equations (like 2+3=5) by including white math tiles (plus signs, minus signs, multiplication signs, etc.). Each valid equation is called a “pod.” Keep using your blue tiles to build new equations on those pods, almost like a crossword.

The first one to use all their blue tiles yells “Möbi” to win. Wild card tiles and a few
other creative rules make this a great family game. Want to play with younger kids? Just remove the multiplication and division tiles.

With no scores to calculate or paper or pencils, all you need to play Möbi is a flat surface. It’s a great travel, beach, or picnic game. And it can help kids with hand-eye coordination, cooperative play, and automaticity, which is the ability to apply learning automatically without actively thinking about it.

Wife-husband creators Vanessa and Mark Ellingson like classic word games (Scrabble, Bananagrams) that disguise learning as play. They wanted to invent a game their son, Noah, would stay interested in as he grows up.

Whether or not you think you love math, you’re bound to love Möbi.
