Too hard to use for old hands

10/19/2020 by Dixie

I don't have the hand strength put it on or use it. It seems very tight to me.

Way underestimated the size so not too useful.

Did not work. Returned. Was for my husband and I guess his hands were too big. He does have a small tablet.

Only works in one direction on iPad

I am right handed and wanted to use the padlette so I would hold it in my left hand in the 'artist palette' mode and interact with the screen using my right hand. Unfortunately you can't put the padlette on the iPad in the direction that would require because it presses on the power and volume buttons. I tried several times and while I could sometimes get it on and set without it hitting the buttons but pretty soon it would end up moving a bit and hitting them. You can hold the iPad with your left hand by gripping it with a curled hand as in one of the pics on the site, it's just that's not very comfortable/natural for anything more than a short bit.
Quality and feel is good. I hope they do a little more prototyping to come up with a slightly different model that will work in either direction.

It's okay.

It's just okay because you still have to strain your fingers to hold onto the Kindle. Very tight and not comfortable for more than a few minutes. I use it because I have nothing else like it to help me hold my Kindle. Sure hope someone comes up with something better.

Disappointed with purchase. Okay for reading ebooks but rather awkward. Decided not to give it as a gift.

I purchased the large and the small Padlettes and I am very disappointed in them. There really is no way to hold them to make the use of your tablets less cumbersome. They are always on an angle and with screens that revolve, it's a royal pain. I will be sending both of these back. Nice try but it just doesn't work for me.

The Padlette Story

Padlette - One-Handed Tablet Handle

Artfully Mobile

Padlette is a tablet hand strap that makes holding a tablet with one hand easy. Stretch the silicone over two opposing corners, and one-handed interaction becomes natural. Even gesturing or walking along, Padlette stays put.

Tablets make technology more mobile, so they’re prone to being dropped. We cover them with cases hoping to minimize the damage. But Padlette takes a different approach, giving you more mobility while minimizing the risk of dropping.

Founder Hank Baker was camping when he realized how hard it is to hold a tablet while sitting or moving. Inspired by the way painters hold a
palette, Hank came up with the design and the name.

Designed to fit most major tablets, Padlette even fits over a case. You can choose which top corner to hook it on to, with a simple design that makes it a snap to attach and remove.
