My dog doesn't like this!

12/28/2017 by ellen

My grandson and I were able to get our dog to put his front paws in but he will not let us put his back feet in, It seems like a nice idea but you still need to dry off each paw.

Needs improvement

10/11/2017 by Norati

I would not have purchased this had I read the 6/5/2017 review by Tammi. There's no way to clean the inside of plunger nor empty the water completely. Otherwise, it does the job of cleaning dirty paws.

Did not work for me or my dog

Love the idea but I found it much easier to simply use my hose & towels.

Paw plunger is okay.

I got this for my Pekingese, Nicki. We live in Georgia and the red dirt is an irritant to both of us. The problem is this item, I bought the smaller one, is too high to comfortably use. I wish she would make one half as tall. We will give this to my sister who has a Schnauzer.

It did clean his feet, BTW, was just awkward!

Cool Idea but not in practice

3/19/2019 by Michael

The idea of this product is great but when we tried to use it on our dog it was hard to get his paw in and out. After the first paw he wanted nothing to do with it. We ordered the medium for a 30LB dog and the sizing seemed appropriate.

Sharp Edges! Not safe for your dog!

7/11/2018 by Tim

I bought this and found out it has sharp edges along the inner rim of the cup, the bristles are soft but when I put my hand in the cup, I got cut when I pull my hand back out when touching the edges of the inner cup. Not Safe!

Not for small dogs

While the medium size is supposed to be able to be used for small dogs it is almost as big as the dog and getting their feet in is not possible.

I like the concept but.......

4/7/2015 by Chasity

I purchased a large size for my 110lb Rhodesian/Doberman who has large paws. The bristles were too far apart to make contact with his paws effectively. Since he is one of the largest breeds I assumed a large would be the best size. Maybe if I ordered a small it would work better. I LOVE the concept of this product it just didn't as well as I expected.

works on the 60-pounder, but the 14 and 3 pound dogs' feet don't even touch the scrubbers….sorry!

The PawPlunger Story

PawPlunger- Portable Dog Paw Cleaner or Car Wash for your Dogs Paws

Pawsitively Spotless

Wouldn’t it be swell if our dogs would wipe their paws on the mat before they raced into the house? Talk about a dream come true. But we live in the real world, where the next best thing is the ingenious PawPlunger. It looks like an oversize coffee mug and it works like a miniature car wash for your dog’s paws. Simply fill the PawPlunger with warm water, place a paw inside, then plunge gently. The paw-friendly bristles inside the device brush away the grime and irritants. Voila, clean paws. There are no muddy towels left by the door, no salt or chemicals from the roads to hurt your pup or get dragged onto your carpet. And that awkward wrestling match by the sink with your best friend? Eliminated. It even comes with a spill-proof lid so you can bring it along in the car.

The inspiration for the PawPlunger is LuLu, a Wheaton Terrier with a fondness for romps in Central Park. The creator is Brianne Leary (you might know her as the host of Animal Planet’s Petsburgh series). Brianne came up with the idea for the PawPlunger after countless struggles to keep LuLu’s paw prints out of her apartment. She teamed up with co-inventor Andrew Taylor to develop the idea, and the rest is history. Pawsitively genius.
