Works well

This is a black plastic container with some bristles inside so that when you plunge your dog's paw in, it will remove the excess debris. I use it for taking the sand off my dogs feet when we go to the beach and when I'm in Colorado when it snows, I use it to rinse their paws off of salt that I don't want them to lick. I got the medium but it is pretty big. I could have just gotten the small for my 25lb and 11lb dogs. It works pretty well for not having them track in dirt and sand into the house and car. I keep one by the door and one in my car with a towel to wipe their feet off since they are dunking their paws into water.

Well made, great concept

I bought this as a gift, but inspected it before packing it up. It's well made and felt like it would last for years to come. The concept is simple but clever. The recipient of this says it works extremely well. She has two dogs, one of which has the sort of claws that dig into mud and get lots of dirt tracked in the house. She reports that this worked very well for cleaning his paws, so I'm very happy with the purchase!

My carpets love this product!!

I am so glad I purchased the PawPlunger! We have had a very rainy spring in Atlanta and our back yard is a mud pit! The PawPlunger cleans my dogs paws really well. I have a 40 lb. dog and a 70 lb. dog. The medium works well for both of them, but is almost too big for my 40 pounder. I was worried that it would freak my dogs out, but they don't seem to mind the bristles. The only problem I've had is that a few of the bristles came out. This did not effect the performance, but I'm glad I saw them floating in the dirty water before I dumped it down the drain.

Carpet saver!

This really does work!

I love the Paw Plunger. It is much easier than trying to clean them off with wet wipes! I would highly recommend it to anybody with dogs going outside in the muddy spring season. Your website is great!! I love all the great inventions that are on your site. Keep it going! :)

Very cool

Bought this to use on my lab. Works great getting the mud/grass between her pads. Spring time rain and mud are a mess with a dog that loves to run. Just put some warm water in it with a drop of soap if you wish, slosh their paws and wala clean paws. Pull the paw out hit it with a towel. Very well constructed. My lab knows when I grab it, it is paw cleaning time and goes with the program. Love it.

Love it!

dog owner must have

I love the paw plunger. We used to just wipe their paws with a towel and I didn't realize how much dirt stays in between the pads. It's amazing to see how much dirt and sand I dump when I empty the cup after washing the paws. Such a simple product and so wonderful. Every dog owner should have one.

This thing really works!

We got our PawPlunger last week. Were a little skeptical that it would work with our 77 lb. Siberian Husky, Myka (we got the medium size), but thought it was worth a try. Dragging her over to a tub of water to clean her feet and then drying them was quite a chore. She was a little bewildered, but allowed us to plunge all 4 feet, and then tried to drink the water. She will figure out what it's all about soon-- and Huskies are very strong willed -- but it will still be easier than the alternative. Great idea!

Great Time-Saver

This is a great gadget. It is saving me a lot of time, water and annoyance as I was putting my dog in the tub to wash her feet after our morning walks.

My only comment would be that it would be nice if there were a small size. My dog is only 20 pounds to the medium is larger than it needs to be.

The PawPlunger Story

PawPlunger- Portable Dog Paw Cleaner or Car Wash for your Dogs Paws

Pawsitively Spotless

Wouldn’t it be swell if our dogs would wipe their paws on the mat before they raced into the house? Talk about a dream come true. But we live in the real world, where the next best thing is the ingenious PawPlunger. It looks like an oversize coffee mug and it works like a miniature car wash for your dog’s paws. Simply fill the PawPlunger with warm water, place a paw inside, then plunge gently. The paw-friendly bristles inside the device brush away the grime and irritants. Voila, clean paws. There are no muddy towels left by the door, no salt or chemicals from the roads to hurt your pup or get dragged onto your carpet. And that awkward wrestling match by the sink with your best friend? Eliminated. It even comes with a spill-proof lid so you can bring it along in the car.

The inspiration for the PawPlunger is LuLu, a Wheaton Terrier with a fondness for romps in Central Park. The creator is Brianne Leary (you might know her as the host of Animal Planet’s Petsburgh series). Brianne came up with the idea for the PawPlunger after countless struggles to keep LuLu’s paw prints out of her apartment. She teamed up with co-inventor Andrew Taylor to develop the idea, and the rest is history. Pawsitively genius.
