Fits 3 tags only

7/21/2016 by Melissa

Fit with 3 tags. Rabies, County tag and vet. Could not get a 4 th address tag or chip tag on which I am told us important because if found it his quicker to call then take to a vet but since vet number is there hope that is enough

Efficient w/limitations

7/20/2016 by Jake

Arrived on time and undamaged
Easy to operate, and heads/shoulders above its competition
One minor drawback noted - its size should refer to the number of tags the canine has rather than its size. We have the 'small' one and it can barely hold his three tags

Great gadget!

This works very well to stop the constant jingling from the tags that must be annoying to my dag as well as to me. Previously I used scotch tape, but this is a little more high tech. Ha-ha

Works great!

Pretty easy to assemble, although sometimes the silencing strap can be tricky to get off the nut. Works great though, no more jingling of tags!

Worked well for a short time.

I really liked this; however, it did not last long and screw exited the whole thing so it did not work anymore. Great thought though-thought of it yesterday again as we banged along!

noise

Doesn't stop all the tags from noise

keeps tags quiet

This tag holder keeps the tags tightly together and keeps them from jingling. The problem is that when you hang it on the dog, the tags can poke into the dog's neck when it's hanging on the loop of the collar. I wish the tags would lay flat against the dog's neck.

Water Resistant???

4/14/2017 by Angela

This is a great design and does keep my dogs' tags from making noise. The only problem is that the disk backing is cardboard and bends easily. I have two labs and even though the info says that is it is water resistant, I cannot imagine how it will hold up when my dogs take off for the lake. Repeatedly.

Close, But No Cigar

Great idea, not so great in actuality. 1) The middle of the tag was obscured by the silencer; 2) Couldn't replace the cap over the nut.

The Playday Labs Story

Hey, Fluffy, lose that jingle.

Do Not Disturb

No matter how much we love our pets, the jingle of their tags can drive us crazy. FreezeTag is a pet tag silencer that’s practically indestructible, easy to use, and helps keep you sane.

Founder Jennie Posthumus was inspired to create FreezeTag by a tagless Great Dane wandering alongside the road. With no identifying info to go on, reuniting him with his family was much harder than it should have been. The ordeal led her to a realization—many people remove their pets’ tags because they’re noisy.

With help from industrial engineer Dan Blum, they created a clasp that holds up to four tags in
place without jingling. The Made in the USA design is waterproof, resists smells, and won’t catch on things like standard tag holders do.

Putting your pet’s tags in the FreezeTag holder is easy. Pull the rubber stopper off, then unscrew the nut. Add the tags and replace the nut snugly—tight enough to prevent jingle, but loose enough to fan the tags out. Hook it through your pet’s collar ring and replace the stopper.

Your pet is properly ID’d, which gives you peace of mind. And the tags are silenced, which gives you peace and quiet.
