Silence!

10/20/2016 by Karen

The FreezeTag does what it purports to do: freezes tags. The jingle bells effect is GONE. Thanks!

Love This!

10/13/2016 by Linda

My little dog used to try to swat her tags away, often getting a nail caught in the ring in the process. Now, she doesn't seem to notice that she is even wearing them. And as a bonus, this 9-year old 8 pound pup was able to catch a chipmunk last week! (Not to worry - she let it go when she discovered that it didn't want to play with her)

Wonderful product

As owners of 5 dogs, the rattling from dog tags was quite annoying. We tried all kinds of remedies until finally coming across these FreezeTag Pet Tag Silencers. They are perfect! And no more lost tags either! We tell all of our friends about them.

No more clanking

10/8/2016 by Mary

We were always awakened at night when our dog shook herself and her tags clanked together. With this FreezeTag Pet Tag Silencer holding the tags together, the clanking has been eliminated. I found the tags/Freeze Tag together made her collar a bit heavier, so I'm not sure I'd recommend this for very small dogs. For our 12 pounder, it does work very well!

This is a really nice product. Simple to use, very sturdy, and keeps all tags available for viewing.

Wonderful

I no longer have to remove my dog's collar at night so I can sleep. So, I no longer have to worry about forgetting to put her collar back on before sh goes outside.

"Emerie Proof" aka nearly perfect

9/12/2016 by lauren

My destructive dog, Emerie, has lost her name tags dozens of times and the cost to get new rabies, name, and microchip tags etc. adds up over time. We have tried the regular loops, clips from pets stores, tiny carabiners, and a popular one from this website even. None stayed on. She is just too good at breaking them. This one so far this one seems to be constructed much better and doesn't jingle either which is a bonus! I am hoping to buy some for others as gifts because I LOVE this product so far

"Emerie Proof" :D

9/12/2016 by Lauren

So far my destructive dog Emerie who has lost so many tags and collars has not been able to break this one off. It seems pretty sturdy. Also it doesn't jingle. We have tried the clip kind from various pet stores, tiny carabiners, regular loops, a similar product sold on this website but none of them would stay on Emerie this well. Also this one is much easier to take on and off to switch collars than the others I've used. LOVE this product so far and even want to use as a gift for my dog niece soon :)

You will love this; your dog won't care.

Gone is the jingle of my dog's tags: especially at night when they seemed most noisy. Easy to install. The dog is unaware that anything is different. Great buy. Yeah me!

The Playday Labs Story

Hey, Fluffy, lose that jingle.

Do Not Disturb

No matter how much we love our pets, the jingle of their tags can drive us crazy. FreezeTag is a pet tag silencer that’s practically indestructible, easy to use, and helps keep you sane.

Founder Jennie Posthumus was inspired to create FreezeTag by a tagless Great Dane wandering alongside the road. With no identifying info to go on, reuniting him with his family was much harder than it should have been. The ordeal led her to a realization—many people remove their pets’ tags because they’re noisy.

With help from industrial engineer Dan Blum, they created a clasp that holds up to four tags in
place without jingling. The Made in the USA design is waterproof, resists smells, and won’t catch on things like standard tag holders do.

Putting your pet’s tags in the FreezeTag holder is easy. Pull the rubber stopper off, then unscrew the nut. Add the tags and replace the nut snugly—tight enough to prevent jingle, but loose enough to fan the tags out. Hook it through your pet’s collar ring and replace the stopper.

Your pet is properly ID’d, which gives you peace of mind. And the tags are silenced, which gives you peace and quiet.
