Impressed but could use some improvements

9/14/2015 by RICHARD

I got quite a few questions regarding the bag. It is very functional. Did have an issue with the roll coming slightly undone and tapering out one end but I just cinched the straps a little tighter to help prevent that. At issue was the Hook itself, did flop around a bit, however I figured out that it fits in the top zipper pretty easily and was able to secure it that way during transport. All in all not a bad purchase for a short trip.

small but mighty

I like the rolo garment bag because it is light and easy to carry. I haven't put 4 days worth of clothes in it yet but I am going on a week long trip soon and my goal is to carry more than 4 days worth. Would be a great bag to carry inside a bigger suitcase to bring home extra things you buy. It seems small so I will tell you more after my trip if I can.

Works Well

Works well for my bicycle commute to work. Does get wet inside as out in the rain.

Easy transport

8/18/2015 by Peggy

Used it last weekend & loved it. Only complaint is I think the 2small pockets would be better left as one large pocket. It was so easy to find and access my stuff, and was very small for transport. My husband is considering one now.

I wanted to love this bag...

1/5/2016 by Valerie

I love the idea of this bag but, being female, the reality for me is this bag will only work for a few trips during the summer when I can just wear the same sandals as there is no room for extra shoes. You could probably pack your cleansers, lotions and cosmetics if you do it strategically but again, for me that's more trouble than it's worth. I still had to carry my cosmetic bag and a shoe bag when I used the Travel Roll-Up Bag to travel home for the Christmas holiday. I regular suitcase or duffle bag would have suited me better for that trip so I could have thrown everything into the one bag.

However, all that being said, if you're a minimalist and don't need to take a lot of excess stuff with you, this bag is great!

OK, BUT IN NEED OF AN UPGRADE

8/17/2015 by Richard

I LOVE ITS SIZE, BUT ... I FIND THE SMALLER POCKETS DIFFICULT TO GET IN AND OUT. MOREOVER, THE ROLO REQUIRES AN OUTSIDE POCKET FOR THOSE TOILETRY ITEMS WHICH CANNOT BE ROLLED BUT MUST TRAVEL WITH YOU - DEODORANT STICK, RAZOR, SHAVING CREAM, ETC.

Good idea

8/12/2015 by Davis

I love the idea of the rollup bag. The rollup keeps clothes In good shape. It is compact. And it's fun.

I give it only three stars because it is limited to a two day trip. I find the limiting factor is where do I put my current toiletry kit? It doesn't fit the shape of the roll.

longer closure straps would be helpful

1/13/2017 by Pat

this worked well for one day of clothing but the strap wasn't long enough to close the bag when I had two days' worth in it.
I'd like an extension to make the closing straps longer so it would work. I ended up putting the bag into a garbage bag so I could carry it.

The Rolo Story

Rolo - Roll-up Travel Bag

Your suitcase just shrunk.

Rolo is a lot of things: compression bag, suitcase, wardrobe, organizer… but most of all, it’s a brand new way of packing.

This clever invention maximizes space with four mesh compartments—two large and two small—that hold up to four days’ worth of clothing and toiletries. Simply put your stuff into Rolo’s compartments, roll it up, buckle it, and you’re on your way.

Made with strong fabric, brand name YKK zippers, military grade mesh, and patented side-release buckles, Rolo is built to last. It comes with a convenient shoulder strap that’s perfect for hiking, camping, or backpacking and even
short trips. (Heck, you may not even need a suitcase.)

When you arrive, simply unroll it and hang it up in a closet, on a tree branch, or wherever. It’s easy to see—and access—what’s in each pocket. There’s no need to unpack.

The idea for Rolo came to Founders Benjamin Taller and Cheryl Mascari while backpacking through Europe. Unpacking and packing their bag constantly was a pain. They thought, “Wouldn’t it be great to simply roll all our stuff together?”

That epiphany became Rolo. Carry less, travel smarter, and enjoy yourself more when you’re away.
