Tub Manta Ray

7/26/2018 by Trisha

These little soap-holding critters are the cutest tub toys that double as soft scrubbers for my grands. They love them and so do their parents.

Awesome! Excellent aesthetically & practically!

I purchased for my grandson who is 4 yrs old. He lives in Hawaii & loves the animal/fish life there. So when I saw this, I HAD to order! He simply loves it (and his TuTu (grandmother) also. His mother was also happy with having her son "have fun" while also getting cleaned.

Fun and Useful

I bought "Ray the Manta" for my blind landlady. She immediately named him, "Manti". I asked her to tell me why she likes Manti.

"The size is perfect for body scrubbing. The soap fits inside of him and this means that if Manti falls, I can just pick him a up. Usually, I have to look all over the shower for the soap and I am in danger of stepping on it and falling. It is so hard to find and hold slippery soap. I find Manti exactly where he was dropped and I go on with my shower. I also love the finger pockets. It makes controlling my scrubbing easier. When I am finished, I just squeeze the excess water out and hang him up on the shower handle. He is dry and ready to go the next shower."

She is considering buying a second "Manti" so one can be in the wash and the other in the shower.

The SoapSox Story

SoapSox - Plush Animal Washcloths

Cuddly Clean

SoapSox is a stuffed animal washcloth that makes bath time more fun for you and your little one.

Each SoapSox washcloth is made from soft, gentle terry cloth with an anti-microbial sponge inside. “Simple and smart,” we thought. . . but the story of its creation was something we liked even more.

Founder Ray Phillips was working with abused children at a group home when he had the idea. One boy at the home was scared to bathe, and Ray noticed that his stuffed animal calmed him. So Ray created a modified version of the animal, including a place for a bar of soap. The child then bathed happily.

Today’s SoapSox are enhanced versions of that big-hearted innovation. Simply put liquid or bar soap in the specially designed pocket, add water, lather up, and start washing. The little finger pockets make it easier for kids to grip.

And SoapSox is machine washable and dryable, so the fun doesn’t need to stop when the bath does. Kids can cuddle with them anywhere.
