Our dog loves this shammy, and so do we. It gets him clean and dry in no time, and it is soft and fluffy. Plus it looks good and washes well. This beats towels coming and going . . . great Grommet.

Great idea!

Works well - IF my husband remembers to use it after taking the dog to the beach!

This is a MUST BUY. I usually used about three towels
to dry my golden retriever and this product dries well
and is easy to throw into the washing machine. It has improved my dog-bathing experience immensely.

Love this!

I have a 110 lb white shepherd mix. Used to take 3-4 large towels to dry him after a bath. This does it all at once and he loves it! My beagle likes the towel so much that all I do is put it on the floor and he rolls around on it.

I have two Border Collies with lots of coat who take a 4-mile walk in the woods every morning year-round during the week and play in Lake Michigan on the weekends. They can make a terrible mess! Since I got my Soggy Doggy I have reduced the water, dirt, and sand that they drag into the house by 90%. I have given Soggy Doggies to friends for dogs ranging from 10 to 80 pounds. They are great following baths as well as for cleaning up after muddy/sandy walks.

Works well

My dogs think I am playing with them when I dry them. The shammy avoids that because it is not as big as a bath towel

This product works as advertised. We keep it by our door entering the yard. When our dogs come in, it's handy to wipe them off. Also, they LOVE it.

Works great, dogs dry quickly

This worked great and dried the dog quickly. Dog likely the softness of the towell/shammy.

The Soggy Doggy Story

Paw Patrol

Tired of dirty, wet paw prints all over your house? Joanna Rein remembers feeling that way.

Despite stockpiling rags and towels by the backdoor, her four young kids could never tackle their dog Buddy’s wet paws when he came in from the yard. She wanted an easy way to clean and dry Buddy without creating a huge mess, and she was inspired by two things: the tiny chamois towel she saw a swimmer using at a swim meet, and the soft, dangling brushes in a car wash. It took some experimentation (and help from a patient tailor) before Joanna perfected a simple, practical solution for wet paws that even
Buddy likes using.

The secret is in the “noodles,” the textured strands of microfiber chenille that are woven together to create Joanna’s Soggy Doggy Doormat and Soggy Doggy Super Shammy. These shaggy textiles soak up water and trap dirt like a sponge. And they really work. The doormat can absorb 5 times more water than a regular cotton doormat, and it easily doubles as a crate pad, car mat or couch cover. The Super Shammy—which has hand pockets so you can get a firm grip when you’re toweling off your pooch—can hold up to seven times its weight in water.

Dogs love the softness, while we love the durability (just toss in the washer and dryer). It’s the best reward for a wet romp.
