Perfect !

This shammy is unbelievably soft! My dog loves it when I use this when she comes in from outside. The super absorbing shammy, combined with a massage-like motion makes her feel so happy and relaxed (and pampered). No more towels for drying !!

Great at Drying Dog.

Does a great job of drying the dog.
The only problem is how to dry the shammy? It stayed wet for days after.

holds a lot of water

This towel holds a lot of water and it's easy to wipe down the dog with it.

Very high quality. It could be a bit larger for my big dog.

I was doubtful that a dog whammy would actually be of us. Normally I go through four or five towels to dry my rather large Golden Retriever. But this product did the job with room to spare.

My only regret is I only bought one.

Absorbant

We have had a lot of rain lately and Stella (mini-schnauzer) loves to go outside! Shammy is easy to handle and Stella does not mind getting wiped down!!

just ok, compared to same thing bought last year

7/21/2018 by Ann

I use these at my self-service dog wash. The ones I have bought in past years were identical from order to order. They are very popular AND cut my towel laundry by 1/2!!! They are very absorbent and my customers find them fun to use. They often request info so they can buy this item for use in their home. My most recent purchase of the "same" product however was a little disappointing. The loops are less thick and the pockets for your hands in the back are just folded over and seem "cheep". BUT, having said that, I must add that they still work great!!!
If I wasn't comparing the "old" and the "new" I wouldn't feel any negativity, is my guess. I still recommend them.

The Soggy Doggy Story

Soggy Doggy UpdateDec2016 V3

Paw Patrol

Tired of dirty, wet paw prints all over your house? Joanna Rein remembers feeling that way.

Despite stockpiling rags and towels by the backdoor, her four young kids could never tackle their dog Buddy’s wet paws when he came in from the yard. She wanted an easy way to clean and dry Buddy without creating a huge mess, and she was inspired by two things: the tiny chamois towel she saw a swimmer using at a swim meet, and the soft, dangling brushes in a car wash. It took some experimentation (and help from a patient tailor) before Joanna perfected a simple, practical solution for wet paws that even
Buddy likes using.

The secret is in the “noodles,” the textured strands of microfiber chenille that are woven together to create Joanna’s Soggy Doggy Doormat and Soggy Doggy Super Shammy. These shaggy textiles soak up water and trap dirt like a sponge. And they really work. The doormat can absorb 5 times more water than a regular cotton doormat, and it easily doubles as a crate pad, car mat or couch cover. The Super Shammy—which has hand pockets so you can get a firm grip when you’re toweling off your pooch—can hold up to seven times its weight in water.

Dogs love the softness, while we love the durability (just toss in the washer and dryer). It’s the best reward for a wet romp.
