We use this on our muddy pup at our rural house. Absorbs an amazing amount. Since it absorbs so much water, I wasn't sure how it would handle the washing machine (HE) but it cleans up perfectly and releases all the water on the spin. Highly recommend.

I ordered 2 of the blue super shammy. They are thick and fluffy and absorbent. And the shape is great for drying off my pup after a bath or a walk in the rain.

Best towel ever!

This amazing towel is so absorbent that one towel is enough to dry off our very large and very fuzzy dog.

The texture of the towel make the drying off even more fun cause the dogs just LOVE it.

My only regret is that I purchased just one of these, and not two or three to rotate, since you have to wash them separately.

Amazing - really works!

Shortly after this arrived, we had a solid day of serious wind blown rain in NJ, but of course, my pal (Brittany Spaniel) would not be discouraged from his morning mile walk. My slicker held up, but he was serious soaked when we got home and I was planning an hour or so with towels and the blow dryer when I remember this - it was amazing. Soaked up the dripping water from his "feathers" and "skirt." I left it hanging over a chair and it was ready for our next outing a few hours later. I agree with one other reviewer that it would be helpful if it were a bit longer - or maybe sized for small or large? Other reviewers mentioned an odor when it was unpacked but I didn't notice anything like that. I highly recommend this!

Great Doggy towel

Not only does this towel work to dry my dogs paws and back, he also keeps coming back for more since it must feel like a massage.

Hi “paw” for Soggy Dog

I never review products but felt this deserved my time. It’s amazing how much water this soaks up. My bathroom has gone from a major disaster area, with water and multiple towels everywhere, to very contained. It saves so much energy and time when I only have to wipe down “Daisy dog” and not the whole bathroom.

Best gift for any dog owner.

Purchased one for my daughter's dog and she and her chocolate lab love Soggy Doggy. Back to buy one for a friend's pup.

My dogs love this.

Sometimes they even run out after I've dried them so they get another rubby!

The Soggy Doggy Story

Soggy Doggy UpdateDec2016 V3

Paw Patrol

Tired of dirty, wet paw prints all over your house? Joanna Rein remembers feeling that way.

Despite stockpiling rags and towels by the backdoor, her four young kids could never tackle their dog Buddy’s wet paws when he came in from the yard. She wanted an easy way to clean and dry Buddy without creating a huge mess, and she was inspired by two things: the tiny chamois towel she saw a swimmer using at a swim meet, and the soft, dangling brushes in a car wash. It took some experimentation (and help from a patient tailor) before Joanna perfected a simple, practical solution for wet paws that even
Buddy likes using.

The secret is in the “noodles,” the textured strands of microfiber chenille that are woven together to create Joanna’s Soggy Doggy Doormat and Soggy Doggy Super Shammy. These shaggy textiles soak up water and trap dirt like a sponge. And they really work. The doormat can absorb 5 times more water than a regular cotton doormat, and it easily doubles as a crate pad, car mat or couch cover. The Super Shammy—which has hand pockets so you can get a firm grip when you’re toweling off your pooch—can hold up to seven times its weight in water.

Dogs love the softness, while we love the durability (just toss in the washer and dryer). It’s the best reward for a wet romp.
