Add a little class to the deck

These were easy to assemble and to begin using.
They do blow around a bit in the wind. But that can easily be overcome.

Ihave had several of these lanterns hanging in my backyard for several years since we are have lots of trees and not a lit of sun, I occasionally hang them in my sunniest spot to reccharge. They have not lost their charge and look like moons hanging i

I have several of these lanterns and they have survived surprisingly well for several years. During the Autumn I bring them inside, turn off the solar battery and flatten and store them in their boxes. All night they retain a comforting glow. Ig I had more sunny spots, I would hang more of them . Some do need replacing after quite a few years. Probably should not be hung in very windy places, but they are sturdy in their own way.

The lanterns are well constructed and finished, the material looks and feels of good quality.

Nice focal point in yard.

Had my lantern up and outside collecting sun energy within 10 minutes of receiving it. When we went to sleep we looked out at the lantern and there was a nice soft glow through the lantern. My only criticism would be the cost is a little much for the lantern.

Very CUTE!

These actually glow so fun and Tiki party like. They don't really put out that much light to be useful in that way but they have been in the sun for a long time now and haven't even started to show any wear at all. One arrived broken and they sent a new one out right away.

The ones that stay working are great but there are too many that don't work after a week or 2.

Soji Solar Nylon Lantern...Nice but...

6/1/2014 by Handy

We bought two orange and one blue. Of the two orange one of the two has never worked.

Allsop through Grommet Customer Service believes we need to replace a AAA rechargeable battery and suggested we go and buy a new battery rather than replace the whole lantern! After buying the battery and recharger it cost us $34! Oh yes, Allsop is supposedly sending us new batteries. Not the best customer service response!

Of the two remaining lanterns, they have worked well and do make for a very nice evening light.

Attractive but didn't work so well

Hung this outside on a porch with the hope it would charge during the day and glow during the night. Perhaps the sunlight reaching it wasn't strong enough, but it rarely charged well. A disappointment.

Not an easy device to use. The switch is too small and difficult to access - not to mention that the lantern worked for an hour one time. This product is not up to your standards.

Disappointed

They don,t hold a charge very long. When mounted on provided base they sag over. I wish I would have kept the box and paper work. I would return them.

The Allsop Solar Lighting Story

Allsop Home & Garden - Wheel Easy & Solar LED Lighting

Unplugged Ambiance

Allsop Solar Lighting is known for its elegant, festive solar-powered lights—perfect indoors or out. Father-daughter duo Jim and Jamey Allsop started the company to innovate a better wheelbarrow, but their lights are what really caught our eye.

Accordion lanterns come in vibrantly colored nylon, so the sun won’t fade their cheery facade. And Allsop's hand-blown glass string lights add an artisan’s flair on a deck or beneath an umbrella.

Simply place the lanterns (or the solar collector that comes with the string lights) in direct sunlight during the day, and the LED lights will automatically
illuminate. Go ahead and let the sun go down—then enjoy the beautiful after-dark ambiance. Read More Read Less
