perfect holes

6/15/2020 by Dennis

I used this product the day I received it. It drilled perfect holes for the plants I still needed to go into the ground. I love the way it piles the dirt to the side so it does not fall back into the holes. Loaning it to my daughter next.

My favorite garden tool. Love the orange color because it’s easy to spot after setting it down. Made planting my garden and flowers a breeze. Do yourself a favor and get one of these!

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

I absolutely love this device, and I am so glad I bought the extension with it! Even with rocky soil and broken pieces of concrete in the mix, a good power drill will make this device dig like crazy and spit the rock out of the hole. The extension means I don't have to lean over or kneel down to obtain this result, and that's really good new for my back. I would recommend this to anyone who has a garden to plant. It's a life saver.

It cut my planting time in half. I was able to drill all of my holes then go back and drop my plants in. Great tool.

Great tool!

This is an outstanding tool for drilling holes for planting. It digs up whatever is in the path. Make sure to note you need a 1/2 inch drill for it. I am very glad we made this purchase!

I'm not a gardner, but my neighbor who does many things to help me is. I could never think of anything to give her until I saw this Maxbit in your catalog. SHE LOVED IT.

Fantatistic tool

I purchased this tool long before planting season. It looked like it would really assist me, since I'm the only gardener in the family. I need all the help I can get. My husband was very skeptical; he examined the tool and insisted it would not do the job. And so, since I am not the mechanical one, I put the tool aside -- but I was not going to return it! Something told me I was right. After searching for a drill (my husband's tool), I figured out how to attach the drill bit; I then made sure it was secured before I actually worked it outside.
I'm a very young 70 year old, but have had some shoulder and hand surgeries in the past 18 months. I wasn't sure I could handle the job alone. Well, if anyone is on the fence about this tool, DON'T BE! It's a wonder! I made so much progress in my garden today, and plan to finish the job in the next two days. I'm an avid gardener and love to see beauty grow from my own two hands. And with this tool at my side, I'm sure to have the best garden yet! Buy it -- you will not regret the purchase.

Don’t dig holes in the garden—drill them.

Easy Digging

The idea to create a garden hole digger came to Maker Michele Morton when she was helping folks in her community plant their gardens. She made The MAXBIT drill attachment to do the digging job quickly, easily, and more neatly.

The patented curved angles of the bit compress dirt into the bottom and sides of the hole, resulting in a perfectly round, flat-bottomed hole each time. This compressing action eliminates the pile of dug-out dirt for you to deal with when you’re done. The bit and its extension piece fit on most common power drills, and are made in West Point, Mississippi with ultra-tough
steel that’s powder coated to prevent rust.

The MAXBIT works in tilled or untilled soil, and makes holes to fit standard 4” or 6” potted plants. With the power of a drill doing the digging, planting a garden is easier—and faster—than ever.
