Very Good

Good product. Very sturdy. Glad I bought it, but wish sides stayed up just a bit more. Found that when tossing laundry into it, the sides collapse and have to monkey with it a bit. But this is a very minor gripe. It is definitely a good, useful, sturdy product and I'm glad I got it.

Could be improved

Each compartment holds less than a full washer load. If this were just a tad taller it'd be great.

Nice

Overall I like it. A little difficult to get clothes in when it's empty. But is great to carry up the steps full of clothes.

The 3 compartment basket can be a little heavy, wish I had gotten the 2 basket.

good but not GREAT

A good 1/2 idea but it is unstable and could use some sides so it actually stands up.We use ours for recycling and it is always just laying there ! Perhaps some heavy cardbow\ard or plastic wall inserts?

Good basket, keeps your laundry separated

6/29/2013 by Kron

This is a nice basket and does keep clothes separated. I use it to keep my three kids' clothes in separate sections. The only downside is that it doesn't keep its shape, so it's hard to put the laundry into the basket at first. Once you have a few items in it's much easier.

This basket is too bulky for a short person. I'm 5'2".

I use it infrequently because it is too much for me.

Wrong assumption

Smaller compartments than I thought and MADE in China! Never would have bought it.

Save your money

I have the 3 compartment one and it winds up being unwieldy and cumbersome due to its size.
If it had longer straps for carrying it over your shoulder it would be great.
Maybe a velcro strap to hold the regular handles together for transport too.
Collapses in on itself when you pick it up.

The BetterBasket Story

The BetterBasket

No More Drastic Plastic

Anyone who has tried navigating stairs and narrow hallways carrying a full laundry basket knows how unwieldy the hard plastic baskets can be. Tom Goth, a plastics expert and father of two, decided to do something about it after tripping too many times and cracking too many laundry baskets. His invention is called the BetterBasket.

The BetterBasket is great for laundry, toys, sports equipment, recycling items and whatever else you need to tote or store. It’s made from a woven mesh fabric that’s intentionally see-through so you can watch where you’re walking (fewer stubbed toes). We really like
that it’s flexible, but not flimsy. The fabric and binding are sturdy enough to keep it upright when you’ve got a few items in it. Another useful feature is the built-in partition for separating items. The 27-inch basket has three compartments, and the 20-inch basket has two compartments.

Four sturdy straps allow for one-handed carrying, so you can tote your stuff and grab a handrail or hold a child’s hand at the same time. And when you’re not using it, the BetterBasket folds flat for easy storage. But we’re guessing you won’t be putting it away very often.
