towels

Like the quality of the towels. I ordered two sets. The green Ideal has is a better print. The blue Mason jar is not printed as well, seems light in the bottom.

Cute towels

11/11/2014 by Patricia

These towels are a heavier grade than the ones at the discount store. They don't need ironing out of the dryer. The illustrations on them could have been bigger. I felt they were a little overpriced, but that didn't stop me from buying!

Lovely

Love these towels. I only wish there was a design that would look just as good when you fold the towel in half.

Understated and functional

Wash me first! They get better after 2 washes. They're gonna' stain so choose them for accent or function.

Small prints on large tea towel

5/21/2014 by donna

Great unique selection of prints. I chose the rooster which is nice and bright for a gift and I kept the sewing machine and just love it .I wish the print were bigger its small on a large tea towel. Great for display in a kitchen or covering bowels when dough is trying to rise....might I suggest one on front and a print on the back both at different ends so when you fold it one is on each side.

Pretty when new, but...

9/2/2015 by Karen

I bought these in my eternal search for dishtowels that actually are absorbent and dry the dishes rather than move the water around. They do a pretty decent job at that, but because they are white and fairly thin, they stained almost immediately and now look a little bedraggled and rag-like.

The Coin Laundry Story

Coin Laundry - Hand Printed Flour Sack Towels

Soak it up

When it comes to dish and hand towels, not all are created equally. The Coin Laundry is a Montana-based company that makes an assortment of towels to absorb whatever you dish out, all with a touch of 1950s style for any kitchen, bathroom, or bar.

What makes these towels so absorbent, as well as soft and fast-drying, is old-fashioned, eco-friendly 100% cotton flour sack. This same material traditionally was used for drying dishes, polishing glassware, straining food, and even proofing bread dough.

Founder Jennifer Blake uses earth-friendly inks and solvents to silk-screen design motifs like
Mason jars and foot pedal sewing machines for a timeless look.

In addition to finding inspiration from the quality craftsmanship of the past, Jennifer also looks to favorite songs like “Beat it” and everyday sayings to give the towels a light-hearted feel sure to make you smile.

Whether used for dishes or your hands, these towels can hang with the best of them.
