Great kitchen towels!

10/20/2013 by Sharon

Soft, generously-sized and fully absorbent towels with unique imprinted designs. I tested these towels against my previously store-bought kitchen towels. My usual towels did not fully dry the wet dishes; the Coin Laundry ones fully dried these dishes with the first effortless wipe!

Clever and practical

10/7/2013 by Cindy

The two towels I bought -- 'At Home' and the antlered owl -- are soft, absorbent, adorable and totally suited to our 19th century cabin. They're larger than I expected (this is a good thing); haven't had them long enough to test how they respond to the washing machine, but I'm very glad I bought them.

Not a happy camper.

These towels are exactly as described...a little too expensive.

Great gift for anyone

Very pleased except wanted Mason Jar design
& was sold out.
Need pictures of all the different design
options. It is a potential sale loss due to not
wanting to order a design you don't know
what it looks like.

The towel was smaller than a standard dish towel that you traditionally get from craft shows with hand embroidery. Also more expensive than traditional craft show items. Quality was good.

somewhat disappointed

The towel is literally thin sack cloth. Washing did nothing to add bulk. Not a real effective towel nut the print is amusing.

Love the look!

I purchased a set of three towels (different designs) as a gift for my sister-in-law, who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a brand new stove. She likes antiques and vintage items and she loved this Christmas gift.

Flimsy Material

12/25/2013 by Annie

I was disappointed by the material of the towel I received. It's very thin and flimsy. I can't say yet how it will hold up, but I wouldn't buy another. The design is fine, though and looks as pictured.

The Coin Laundry Story

Coin Laundry - Hand Printed Flour Sack Towels

Soak it up

When it comes to dish and hand towels, not all are created equally. The Coin Laundry is a Montana-based company that makes an assortment of towels to absorb whatever you dish out, all with a touch of 1950s style for any kitchen, bathroom, or bar.

What makes these towels so absorbent, as well as soft and fast-drying, is old-fashioned, eco-friendly 100% cotton flour sack. This same material traditionally was used for drying dishes, polishing glassware, straining food, and even proofing bread dough.

Founder Jennifer Blake uses earth-friendly inks and solvents to silk-screen design motifs like
Mason jars and foot pedal sewing machines for a timeless look.

In addition to finding inspiration from the quality craftsmanship of the past, Jennifer also looks to favorite songs like “Beat it” and everyday sayings to give the towels a light-hearted feel sure to make you smile.

Whether used for dishes or your hands, these towels can hang with the best of them.
