Fantatistic tool

6/3/2019 by Jay

I purchased this tool long before planting season. It looked like it would really assist me, since I'm the only gardener in the family. I need all the help I can get. My husband was very skeptical; he examined the tool and insisted it would not do the job. And so, since I am not the mechanical one, I put the tool aside -- but I was not going to return it! Something told me I was right. After searching for a drill (my husband's tool), I figured out how to attach the drill bit; I then made sure it was secured before I actually worked it outside.
I'm a very young 70 year old, but have had some shoulder and hand surgeries in the past 18 months. I wasn't sure I could handle the job alone. Well, if anyone is on the fence about this tool, DON'T BE! It's a wonder! I made so much progress in my garden today, and plan to finish the job in the next two days. I'm an avid gardener and love to see beauty grow from my own two hands. And with this tool at my side, I'm sure to have the best garden yet! Buy it -- you will not regret the purchase.

My husband and I were skeptical at first. But decided to buy it, since it could be returned if not satisfied. Well, we are glad we bought it. Saved us hours of hard work in planting our garden. We bought the extension so my husband could use Maxbit without bending.

Very sturdy

We are impressed with the sturdiness and look forward to planting soon.

Why did this tool not come out years ago?

My husband and I were able to dig the holes for over 100 bulbs in under an hour. He drilled the holes and I popped in the bulbs. We were done in no time. My husband was concerned that drilling holes in the dirt might burn out the drill but the drill is fine and the bulbs are planted.

It Really Works!

I love it! At first my husband and I thought it wouldn't work because the "blades aren't sharp and the thing is really really heavy. But it does work! cuts thru my clay soil with ease , After using it I can eeasly make the hole a little wider if needed.

Not disappointed! Sorry!

I wrote a bad review earlier today. My husband has since informed me that it was his error that this didn't work well. It actually is working very well. I apologize for this error!

Works as advertised. Makes hole digging easier. No problem connecting to drill.

No aching back

This looked like a good idea so I bought it. I have arthritis in my hands and this really helped me with my fall planting. I also use it to putting a pole in the ground as well as larger bushes. It is a fantastic tool.

Don’t dig holes in the garden—drill them.

Easy Digging

The idea to create a garden hole digger came to Maker Michele Morton when she was helping folks in her community plant their gardens. She made The MAXBIT drill attachment to do the digging job quickly, easily, and more neatly.

The patented curved angles of the bit compress dirt into the bottom and sides of the hole, resulting in a perfectly round, flat-bottomed hole each time. This compressing action eliminates the pile of dug-out dirt for you to deal with when you’re done. The bit and its extension piece fit on most common power drills, and are made in West Point, Mississippi with ultra-tough
steel that’s powder coated to prevent rust.

The MAXBIT works in tilled or untilled soil, and makes holes to fit standard 4” or 6” potted plants. With the power of a drill doing the digging, planting a garden is easier—and faster—than ever.
