Egg Shaker

5/15/2018 by Joan

I reviewed this shortly after I purchased it. This is quite useless since I can peel the eggs much faster and more neatly doing it my way. This makes it more work than necessary.

HONESTLY DOESN'T WORK!

4/24/2018 by Blake F

I've tried my best to peel roughly a dozen hard bolied egss over a few weeks with this high-priced device, and have yet to get anything remotely like the result described or shown in the video.

What I get is a mess, basically. The egg's shell is cracked, yes, but doesn't peel off easily at all. In fact, often as I try to peel an egg, chunks of the egg white go with many of the pieces of shell.

I'd send it back for a full refund, but it was a gift. So, I don't know what I'm going to do with it.

This is a good example of something appearing too good to be true.

Assuming you even see this review, you'll notice that the reviews are shown with the best first and the poor reviews last - and there are pages and pages of reviews, too!

I could not get it to work for me

4/22/2018 by Pat

The container broke the shell but part of the egg came off with it. This the first time I used it and I plan on one more try.

Doesn’t work as advertised. Better off peeling by hand

Very disappointing

Does not work

I don’t know what everyone else is doing but I’ve used fresh eggs and older eggs and each time I use this it cracks the shells but they are still impossible to remove. Useless device. Sorry

Didn't work

4/3/2018 by Doreen Zieger

I hard boiled 6 eggs following the directions that came in the box. Every egg was totally useless except for egg salad. The device cracked the egg but didn't remove any of the shell. The shell was stuck to the egg membrane and I lost alot of the egg trying to get it off. I can't believe I'm the only one that had a problem with this.

Sadly I've found little improvement with this product.

4/2/2018 by Kristin

I boil a lot of eggs and I was super excited about this product. I watched the video, followed the instructions, and have found very little improvement to the egg peeling process. I've tried it many times now and I'm back to peeling them the old fashioned way. I buy organic locally sourced eggs and perhaps that has an impact?? Anyhow, I cannot recommend this item as I've found it to be a waste of $$.

Bummer

Great in concept. Video makes it look like a breeze. In reality have had just as much success peeling by hand. Bought one as a gift. One for for me. Don’t need either

Did not work

3/14/2018 by Pamm

I will have to do some more research on the use of this product. Did not work very well. Did not crack my eggs and the water leak out everywhere. I will go online to the company and get some of the hints they talk about. So far, I am not happy with this product and I may return it.

The NEGG® Story

The Negg | Hardboiled Egg Peeler

Eggcellent Peeler

Peel an egg without pulling your hair out.

Cold water and some shaking is all it takes for this hardboiled egg peeler to work. It’s a Made in the USA kitchen hero that conquers a dreaded chore sleekly.

Maker Bonnie Tyler signed up to bring deviled eggs to a party and—after a failed attempt at peeling—showed up with a bag of potato chips instead. After some prototyping and research at her local library, she cracked a solution.

Bonnie combined the elements of industrial peeling (i.e., vibration, movement, and water) to create something small, portable, and easy to use at home. That’s how The
Negg was hatched. She even managed to get it manufactured in Connecticut, her own backyard.

Now you can de-shell your eggs with just cold water and a little bit of effort.
