A great device for easy egg peeling

6/10/2020 by Frank

Following the instructions that come with the Negg to boil and peel eggs makes the task very easy. You can peel an egg or several eggs quickly and most come out perfectly. The easiest way to peel eggs and eliminate the frustration. This is a great device.

Eggselent!

This will do the job if you are patient. I learned to use fresh COLD water in the device for each egg, shake the peeler at least ten times for each egg and try to buy fresh eggs since they peel easier. We use this daily and really like it. But you have to be patient!

Perfect

I waited a whole year before I bought this. It was weird most reviews were either 5 stars or 1. Very few middle star reviews. After receiving I read the short directions and fired up the pot of water to give it a try. The first egg wasn’t the best, but changed up the shaking a bit and the next 11 were the best looking eggs I ever made. Waited a couple weeks to try again and 11 great eggs again. I cracked one when I put it in the water. So if you can follow their directions it should work for you.

Works well

This is a simple device, but eggs are not simple in themselves. Use this right after they cooked. A cooled egg is not your friend in the peeling department. Fresh eggs are little more evil...give them some time to age in the frig, it makes it easier.

Wish I'd owned one YEARS ago!

5/7/2020 by Doris

I've had one of these for over a year now and all I can say is I wish I'd had it YEARS ago when I used to prepare 100+ deviled eggs for Easter gatherings. It works great, as long as you don't shake it too hard. It's easy to get used to though.

The NEGG® Story

The Negg | Hardboiled Egg Peeler

Eggcellent Peeler

Peel an egg without pulling your hair out.

Cold water and some shaking is all it takes for this hardboiled egg peeler to work. It’s a Made in the USA kitchen hero that conquers a dreaded chore sleekly.

Maker Bonnie Tyler signed up to bring deviled eggs to a party and—after a failed attempt at peeling—showed up with a bag of potato chips instead. After some prototyping and research at her local library, she cracked a solution.

Bonnie combined the elements of industrial peeling (i.e., vibration, movement, and water) to create something small, portable, and easy to use at home. That’s how The
Negg was hatched. She even managed to get it manufactured in Connecticut, her own backyard.

Now you can de-shell your eggs with just cold water and a little bit of effort.
