Wanted this to work......

6/24/2017 by Joyce

If you have chickens, and are looking for something to work on those impossible to peel fresh eggs....keep looking. This works, but only on old eggs, as other gadgets before it have done. I keep trying to find a tool for this task but Mother Nature keeps reminding me, the only solution is to let your fresh eggs sit in the fridge for a few weeks before hard boiling them if you want an easy to peel egg or if you are buying your eggs from the grocery store this will do the trick. Perhaps no one thought to test the Negg on freshly laid eggs?
I wish it had worked for the gifts from my girls. Disappointing.

Disappointed

I didn't look at the product closely enough (which was my fault) because I would have realized that it did (for 20.00) exactly what a teaspoon does now. I was so excited because eggs can be hard to peel. I hate that I was out postage etc. hate spending money and having nothing to show. When this happens it makes me leery of additional purchases.

Grace & Peace

Did't work very well on refrigerated hard boiled eggs.

6/16/2017 by Mike

Did't work very well on refrigerated hard boiled eggs. I saw A video on face book of someone using a glass jar and a little water to do the same thing this Negg does. No very happy that I paid good money for this.

Bummed

The only thing that happened was lots of tiny shell pieces - stuck to the egg. Tried it three times and returned both
Wish it would have worked :(

Did not work

I tried this on my backyard chicken's eggs. It shredded the entire egg but left plenty of shell still on the egg. Maybe it works better on commercial eggs, perhaps they have a thinner shell.

I tryed this s few different times. Didn't work any better than peeling by hand. I will send it back.

My wife says it doesn't work

My wife tried it and said it destroyed the egg and she has no desire to use it whatsoever.

Worthless

This item was a complete waste of money. I would regret paying $5 for it let alone almost $25 when factoring shipping.

It did nothing different than smacking an egg on the counter then rolling it. The eggs peeled no better whatsoever.

I will be returning this item for sure!

doesn't work any better than using an ice bath and tapping it on the counter.

The NEGG® Story

The Negg | Hardboiled Egg Peeler

Eggcellent Peeler

Peel an egg without pulling your hair out.

Cold water and some shaking is all it takes for this hardboiled egg peeler to work. It’s a Made in the USA kitchen hero that conquers a dreaded chore sleekly.

Maker Bonnie Tyler signed up to bring deviled eggs to a party and—after a failed attempt at peeling—showed up with a bag of potato chips instead. After some prototyping and research at her local library, she cracked a solution.

Bonnie combined the elements of industrial peeling (i.e., vibration, movement, and water) to create something small, portable, and easy to use at home. That’s how The
Negg was hatched. She even managed to get it manufactured in Connecticut, her own backyard.

Now you can de-shell your eggs with just cold water and a little bit of effort.
