Sorry Waste of money

I felt like an idiot because I tried many eggs, cooked for different amounts of times and it never worked.

I REALLY wanted this to work because my husband LOVES boiled eggs. Sorry but it was a definite dud for us, the peel comes off in tiny pieces. We've tried several times to make sure we were doing it right and it takes just as long if not longer as before.

Peeler that doesn't

Saw video that was impressive! My experience reflected the opposite. Didn't work. First attempt left bits of egg shell all over unpeeled egg. Second attempt was worse. Took off shell & white altogether. Yolk rested in that watery mess. I can peel eggs faster under running water. Sorry. Do not buy this grommet.

totally not worth it-save your money

I was so excited to receive this item. I couldn't wait to show my wife smart I was and how easy it was to 'peel' an egg. We had a 'contest'. I used the NEGG and she rolled her hard boiled egg around on the counter top. SHE WON... Her egg peeled much easier than mine , she just scoffed and asked me how much money had I wasted!

Wish I could return this item and save face with my wife!

Not a Fan!

I've tried this with 3 week old eggs and still had to take them out and pick the shell off. I didn't find it any better than cracking it all around on the side of the sink and peeling under running water. I tried it three times so I have to give "waste of money" as my opinion. Sorry!

This worked on old eggs but not on ones that I just purchased. I was very disappointed.

I love this thing! Works like a charm!

Don't bother

My experience was that, although it might work with older eggs, i am better off rolling the egg in the counter and peeling under the running water. I'm going back to the old school method.

The NEGG® Story

The Negg | Hardboiled Egg Peeler

Eggcellent Peeler

Peel an egg without pulling your hair out.

Cold water and some shaking is all it takes for this hardboiled egg peeler to work. It’s a Made in the USA kitchen hero that conquers a dreaded chore sleekly.

Maker Bonnie Tyler signed up to bring deviled eggs to a party and—after a failed attempt at peeling—showed up with a bag of potato chips instead. After some prototyping and research at her local library, she cracked a solution.

Bonnie combined the elements of industrial peeling (i.e., vibration, movement, and water) to create something small, portable, and easy to use at home. That’s how The
Negg was hatched. She even managed to get it manufactured in Connecticut, her own backyard.

Now you can de-shell your eggs with just cold water and a little bit of effort.
